I'd say AA is way stronger atm.

strong in laning phase but falls off the longer the game goes i suppose?

I used to love support Sniper, but when ranked roles were introduced, too many people would get mad over non-meta picks, particularly carries in support positions.

if something is good enough that you're winning like 55% of games that shouldn't matter. they'll change their minds when they see that it works

if you pick an unconventional pos 4 hero that you have no idea how to play just because you saw someone else do it, then yes they do have a right to be annoyed.

I think Clinkz is the real underrated sup 5 atm
His new death pact is too strong, -2 armor lvl 1, can consume a big jungle creep for half a lvl, heals you and add 5 damage for every kill you participate.
Pair that with a Tusk sup 4 and you will have a Clinkz sup 5 hitting harder than your HC in the late game.
Build: buy tangoes and a Blight stone, lvl 1 death pact, eat a big creep from jungle, every hit you do will take -4 armor from your enemy in lane. you dont want to dual lane with him, you want kills, wander with the other sup looking for it. lvl 2 you take fire arrows for nuke in lane without agroo(pick invis if you have Tusk, easy kills with attack speed), and lvl 3 you go for invis.
buy stats, treads for early game. mid game choose between orchid or diffusal depending on the game.
ive tried it some times and it worked wonders, but i admit you need a good ganker with you. Like Tusk, Shaker or Bara.

5 clinx is underrated in kuroky's mind, might have some merit. but your other heroes will need to make up for your complete lack of cc somehow. eating creeps makes up for your otherwise complete inability to farm, and you cant shove waves or offer disable, probably bad pick for pubs but if u are in a 5 stack then maybe?

Imo clinkz is weak even as core now. Haven't seen him as supp though but wouldn't think it's any good

From what I've seen of clinkz support, a huge part of its value is that death pact is a big baiting tool. Enemies try to 2-3 man gank him with dust and he just eats a creep and turns that fight with tps.

This is the same reasoning why I think Essence Ring is one of the best neutral items in the game, baiting potential on a wide variety of heroes.
