sven with bkb and late game ember are also good
ofc you can kill bad meepos with sf, lina, lesh, shaker etc.

Kunkka is trash vs Meepo (in every stage of the game). If you want to have a good time vs Meepo (in lane) - MK, Morphling, Lina, Sniper, Timber, Huskar, Ember. He losses vs first 6, and goes even vs Ember. However, even if you win lane it doesn't mean win game. Good Meepo is very hard to shut down. The key to shutting down Meepo is to own his early game (as a team) to delay his lvl 10 as much as possible.
Btw. Shaker is not even that good vs Meepo. Much harder is to play against Elder Titan, Warlock, WW.
My friend got 7k in 2 weeks (from 5k) first picking Meepo in pretty much every game, so it's quite hard to counter v. good Meepo player. The best counter to Meepo is team play,.
For evasion it doesn't do much tbh. Try Meepo vs PA with 40% evasion. He eats through her with 2 eblades.
MK counters Meepo in the laning phase. Meepo can kill him at lvl 3, but when MK gets lvl 5, laning becomes very hard. At lvl 10 Meepo kills MK if MK is not very farmed.
DSP - Meepo is decent vs Axe. He outheals dmg in call, and kills him with ransack. However, it's a decent control vs Meepo. I wouldn't call him a counter. They both are good against each other.
you counter keeping by forcing a micro error from meepo so aoe crowd control is generally key.
Actually one of the best lower mmr counters are abilities/items which highlight individual clones - that way your team will focus one rather than all of them.
I also personally hate playing vs strong counter initiations, when my team has no initiation besides me. Let's say enemy has Dazzle + farmed Sniper. You can't break hg because Sniper right clicks you for million dmg. Ideally you want to jump him & hex him, but you can't because Dazzle will always save him. Such games are the hardest to win for me. If it's only one counter like WW, you just jump him, and kill him during hex. The problem is when your team sucks, and there is no other initiation besides you, and they have ways to kite you.
Try to kite Meepo with force staffs, ghost, strong counter initiation. If his team sucks, he will struggle to finish. Getting all tier 2 is easy as Meepo, problem start when you want to hg. Meepo is a hero that need v. good execution when going hg. One mistake can lose you a game.

No offence but I don't think you're 10% as good as this guy. The best Meepo player I know.
He got from 5k to 7k mmr in 2 weeks first picking Meepo in nearly every game...He has around 1.5-2k games as Meepo. He often picks it in 7.5k avg games. If he says it's trash, and good Meepo wins it, then it's a fact.
aoe disable or burst. things that come to mind:
mid - lina, kunkka, ember, pangolier
off - sand king, earth shaker, pangolier
supports - WVYERN, earth shaker, warlock, lina, lich
Well the thing is that usually heroes like meepo & brood comes as lastpick so you have no way to counter him with heroes so you need to counter them with items/teamplay.
The easiest way to deal with meepo is by picking WW, but most of the time you cant predict when to wait with pos 4 pick to pick as the last one.
I used to win against meepo boosters with MK from safe lane with BF build. I saw Tomson going for boots, stat items and then echo first, farm on kills and then BF. He usually got that at ~18 min mark. Very nice way to put pressure on the map since 10 min mark and having bf at a decent timing at the same time.
If you want to, you can even play Axe on mid against meepo if your mid lane sucks and you all already picked before meepo last pick. I cant remember how many games I won just by swaping lanes with midlaner while playing with CC offlaner.
There are many ways to deal with meepo, one of them is getting AC or Shiva asap on your offlane Underlord. But the biggest problem is that meepo usually requires so much attention that enemy carry gets fat.
Kunka is good against Meepo. You just need to be good player.
Sven, SF, Lina, Lesh, Elder Titan, WW, Faceless Void, Spectre, Dragon Knight, Venomancer, Lion, TideHunter, MK... They are all good in a way and at least can be anoying to deal with.
I have over 80% winrate on both my my smurfs with Meepo in 1k and 2k, and for sure, it's not because people don't pick counters.
They just don't know how to play vs meepo in low mmr.
u cant win the game with just winning lane against meepo. u cant stop his farm with most of the heroes, u cant stop him killing ur idiot teammates, u must be able to find him in jungles and kill him consistently thats why MK is the good choice
I am ok mk player i guess i can give it a try along with winter wyvern seems good. And pray i get a team that communicates :)
I have to mention I find ursa and pangolier to be very strorng againt meepo. Ursa can you can enrange and man fight the meepo when he jumps on you early levels even you can focus 1 meepo down. Pango because of his skill sets.
i did countered a smurfing meepo once . necro aint that bad to lane with meepo. we still manage to shutdown that meeps ! :)
dark seer should win lane vs meppo and keep up with his farm for some time, u can even get a kill on him if he tries to get aggresive but
The problem is more the smurfs than the meepo. Ask any of the account sellers/boosters on this very forum (I saw at least one thread as I opened this one up) about how you can play against their type next time they attempt to ruin one of your games.
Contest him when he goes into the jungle. People keep talking about how to win lane against him, but he hits lvl 3, disappears for 4 minutes and comes out lvl 8, close to an EBlade.
Etdawesome - meepo doesn’t want to go to jungle at lvl 3. Jungle doesn’t give enough xp. His lvl 10 will be delayed by a lot. I;m pretty sure if u abandon the lane as meepo u will be like lvl 7-8 at 10min, which is pretty bad, and game losing.
Mars literally rapes the poor thing. Decent meepo players will come & poof the ranged creep after hitting it once lvl 1 (and after) ; spear the little shit under tower & enjoy dominating the lane hard from there.
i go necro mid against meepo and playing quite aggrassive. it works pretty well other than that kunkka and mars is good against him
Kunkka is goodt to deal meeps. Just because 1 people can deal kunkka that doesn't mean kunkka bad against meeps. Most of the time I rekt meeps by just using skill 3 and ulti

Meepo is a favorite pick for smurfs, is there any hero that can help defend tower against meepo? Because meepo will farm faster then any other hero. Provided a brain dead team with 0 rotations, is there any chance to draw lane against meepo if not win..
And if so which heroes are best .
