Hes shit as pos 1 or 2. People think he's a main carry like lifestealer if we talking about STR heroes. Offlaner is the role suits him with item builds like underlord or centaur.
There was a popular question what is the best hero to rekt bots as hard as possible, i play quite often vs these guys and when i was trying Mars i laughed hard how much he can tank, i think hes also good hero for beginners.
He's extremely strong at early pushing strategies as he can tank towers as no one else without anything in his inventory,however this is nothing i can use in archon league(early push) but i like this hero, good offlaner in right time delivered, i thought we need some more good tanky offlaners like cent and underlord.
Hero is quite strong, but you need to build him this way:
Phase - Drums - Vlads - Blink
Don't max his passive (1 point is enough or just skip it, and max QW).
If you try to build him as a typical carry, you will fail. He is the best at pos 3.
