I don't understand, do you mean don't use them in case of emergencies? Because it doesn't make sense to not buy them in case of emergencies.
Whoops. I have no idea what I'm writing. I meant to leave them in shop in case of emergency emergencies? I'll still have my set of wards in my inventory for normal emergencies. But I can see how leaving in the shop would not be as effective as having it in your inventory already. :x
I still don't see why an observer ward would be needed in an "emergency" in most cases. The chances of a big fight suddenly breaking out where you're in a position to put a useful ward on a good warding spot is very unlikely.
Early game > place the wards on the spots that would make the life of your cores easier and safer.
I.E Ward Mid and Offlane at the start of the game. Next set of wards plant on your safelane near the enemy tower then plant again on mid.
Mid to late game > Place the wards depending on the flow of the game. If you're behind, put defensive wards, if you're ahead then put offensive. If you're even, then if they have good ganking potential put some defensive, if you have ganking potential put offensive.
Crucial clashes always happen if someone either gets caught out of position or 5man pushing/defending or roshing. Unless they have gem or zues, then don't keep wards for emergencies.
Better buy gem or/and quelling blade for dewarding, unless your teammate won't accompany you.

A friend asked me what are some of the tips for a support. I told them that they should not buy all the wards just because they're the support. Always leave 1 or 2 wards in the shop for emergencies as we never know where & when a crucial clash might happen. I'm not a real good player but is this good advice? I just thought of it on the fly without thinking it through.
What are some of your tips for warding & dewarding? I'm really bad at dewarding, I knew the hot spots but My enemies would never have wards up when I put my dewards down.
