General DiscussionHELP LATE game plan as a support

lich is pretty strong in lategame if you have teammates to set your ult up; like void carry

But usually the cores already have bkbs and I really want to rely less on my teammates and focus on my on gameplay

My usual game plan's to reach lvl 25 so I can heal towers

Is there an appropriate item I should have? Should I build core, if ever glimmer is useless (they have gem)?

It depends on what heroes you have as teammates, you can start the fight using your ultimate, to force them to use bkb, and wait for your teammates to chase them with another disabler habilities or viceversa, wait until they use bkb and use your ultimate

timing is everything my friend,doesnt mean that if the enemies already have bkbs youre totally useless,you use your abilities at the right time,during a set-ups,bkb cooldowns,etc....

Why only Lich tho? Because you’re too lazy to actually play the game so you decided to press Q to win? Well, duh, Lich is a good choice to finish earlier because you can frost armor creeps/your core to push longer, he’s as item independent as it gets, you steal less exp while laning and his ult is strong first 15 mins or so. If you wanna be relevant throughout the whole game consider WD or sth, at least he deals a lot of mixed damage so enemies will have a hard time countering your abilities. If things are going well, Aghanims can become your game winning trump card. If you just wanna heal towers then pick Treant, seriously. Get him a pocket Lich (solar crest) and you’re good.

Nvm, checked your profile, you’re a tough one alright. Try maxing sacrifice and getting solo exp, get whatever gold you can when your carry is dead or farming somewhere else, get solar if you think you can push early, always buy urn if no one else is gonna do it, don’t spend every coin on wards if you’re a solo sup, you should be greedy to not become a 40 min 2k networth bus passenger

Lich is an early game monster where you can easily deny creeps and harass with his Q.Your gameplan should be is to get as much advantage as possible early game for your team to have a lead since he falls really bad mid to late game. (no disables, unreliable ult)

In lategame, you get items like Hex, Solar crest, Force staff, glimmer, meka, pipe or whatever the team needs and be the Ice Armor bitch for the team.

rofl, the hero actually starts becoming good late game, wtf is wrong with you?

maybe I should say, starts becoming good again really late, the armor healing is the most imbalanced thing in the game
the problem is that everybody goes greedy in the late game and starts sucking

Don't be a pu$$y when playing Lich. Once you get glimmer, use it like a pseudo-blink dagger and sneak up from trees when somebody is farming creeps, and just chain frost and frost blast at point-blank range. Also that's a pretty stupid game plan to wait till you're lvl 25, since it's not like you can do anything to drag games out that long.
