well, no one know how the reset works in the first place, since there was no reset before.
everything you knew about now is actually nothing as there is no concrete evidence on how the reset will take place.
who knows, reset will not even happen :)
Point is if you bought Ancient account and you dropped to 2k you will get your Archon medal, also to trim down higher end players, so they dont inflate MMR to 7k++.

If this reset isn't a full reset and everyone doesn't start anew then what is the point of reset if you only pick up from where you left off till now. And if it is a full reset, is there any point to even play ranked until the update hits? I don't like this reset system one bit....
