People build it on Visage because the birds get the Aura Effect (Bonus Armor)

On WK its legit. It's broken AF with skeletons. Take my word for it. Just max Mortal Strike so you have it 4 on lvl7. It also increases your farm speed with pt+armlet+aquila. Too bad they reworked the crit. It was broken AF a patch ago. It's still a good buy tho.

Invoker, even lifestealer, death prophet, practically any hero who wants to take a t1 tower in their lane can buy it

I can second on LS. Makes early game pushing easier and works great for his spells since they cost a lot more now.

btw if item for agi heroes is also good on str it means that the item is broken and should be nerfed or removed like poor man's shield.

for most int mids u are better off getting a second null now, exception some heroes like visage

For non agi just get basilus for the aura

upgrade to Vlad later if your team do not have Vlad carrier
