Don't u use quickcast ? Using quickcast "generally" ensures that all unit target gets to the hero and not creeps (if ur cursor is close to both hero and creep)... but still if ur cursor is way far from hero or way too close to tje creep, then it can't help, u gotta practice
IIRC there is smart cast, only turn it on though if you think you will not have a situation where you simply have to skill on a creep but can not.
Just practice dude, until you get to the point where you wont hyperventilate in teamclash, your fingers wont shake abd you will read situation perfectly, then you will know you have mastered dota basixs and now you can start learning some advanced shit.
I had the same problem.
First of all, I always used quickcast for spells. I think that was a killer feature that made me to install dota 2 and drop dotaAllstars. Then there was a moment where I spammed WK. When I played a lot on WK I stunned a lot of creeps by accident on safelane instead of offlaners(that was triggering AF) . Just playing more didn't help at all I still was miss clicking.
Beleive it or not what helped me was csgo. I practiced a lot there and I increased my aiming drastically.
Now I play dota again and I never missed a single stun or another spell.
if you don't want to buy/install csgo then you can try this website aim400kg.com. It has a lot of minigames that help you to develop you reaction and aiming. Hope it increases your aim and you won't miss a stun again.
Aim for the face/head of the hero you want to target. Also, move camera a bit forward/up and it makes it clearer too ;)
If you really want to fix that issue with your eye-hand coordination I can advice you to play 2-3 months of CS:GO and come back to dota. It helped me a lot with missclicks.

I spam Ogre in 7.16 and he's pretty good right now imho.
But one thing is that sometimes when I fireblast in the middle of team fight between creep waves I miserably click a creep instead of a hero when they stick together, is there any way a hotkey or something to make this scenario not to occur to much? or I just need practice because I don't have any choice it's just the way it is?
Thanks.
