Rubick arcana would have been much better. Besides, only true dedicated Rubick players would buy it. 90% of pudge players are kids under 13 and 90% of pudge arcanas will be bought by these kids who stole a few bucks from mommy's wallet
And holy shit how is it posible that 99.999% of pudges out there are useless potatoes?

However they would have to work hard to create a Rubick arcana cooler than fantoccini dilemma...green particles to skills would be sick but might me pay2lose though

Rubick players abuse the fact that the enemy doesn't know whose Ghost Ship/Meteor/Macropyre/etc has been cast, even though there are skills that reveal they are Rubick's such as MK ult

i really dont understand the fascination with Pudge as a hero... insanely high pick rate for a hero that really isnt that good... These days i dread Pudge pickers almost as much as Techies pickers... lol

pudge is a very rewarding hero and everyone loves being rewarded for playing better with him

rewarding? how is he especially rewarding? the same can be said about any other hero in the game who you want to improve on... even if you would make a case for hook there are other skillshots in the game some more difficult to land...like arrow for instance...

He's a fun hero to play how hard is it to comprehend rofl

if that is your idea of fun... i guess its subjective... pretty bad hero imho. He seems less then ideal in any role though... sub-par mid, sub-par offlane (dunno whod play him there but plenty of crazies in dota), sub-par roaming (which is what hes used most for these days)... there are better heroes for anything really. If the other team has Pudge im usually glad though... makes it easier... Back when i started playing i used to hate it... have learned how to dodge hooks and itemize against him these days... so, yeah...

^you are talking about how effective he is in the current meta. That does not correlate to fun. For some people the idea of hooking another hero through trees or in a team fight is fun. He might be a dogshit hero in all other aspects of the game, but that doesn't stop someone from picking because there exists people in the "game" who play for "fun". I personally hate pudge pickers, let me make that clear xD

As some1 who has played Pudge since Dota 1 and has always had it be his favorite hero I can say that the arcana is cool. I think for the fact that pudge already has like 5 immortals and cool cosmetic items the set turned out pretty cool. I like the challenge of having to beat rubicks too to unlock that Green style.

Sidenote: I also have recently realized how retarded most pudge players are and how bad they typically are. Everyone is saying pudge is a bad hero but in reality he has one of the most unique Catches in the game that makes him incredibly powerful.

Also I dont know if most of these 2k fangays realize it but the most OP part about pudge is his flesh heap that can stack inifinitely. Clearly you guys havent been a level 25 pudge with the double Flesh Heap Str Talent and a Heart and had 6.5 K HP pool before. Leave Pudge Alone. All you baddies stop picking him and pick your rubick so I can get Green Set :)
