honestly dota 2 made the game is some aspects alot more unfun. Back in dota 1 no one played with their skill level. It was local hosted games or some garena or vnp group games. It was often 1 guy who is "5k playing with and against random players who were 1k 2k or even 0 k. Yes games were not challenging but at the same time it was also fun. Most people that commonly played dota were getting 90% win rates and that was fine for them no need to seek challenges. Now dota 2 makes people always play with people of the same skills and while it is more competitive it loses alot of the magic that it had in the dota 1 days.
yes playing with equals is good but is it good that we lost playing with unequals. Why is there only playing with equal. Back in dota 1 there were platforms that lets you play with equal but at the same time there were platforms that let you play with unequals. To only have 1 mode is boring and really kills the fun out of the game. There should be many modes. Like region mode where it only matches you with people from your state or region. Free for all mode where it will randomly select people with no regard of mmr or hidden mmr. I hope you guys can see where I am coming from.
I can see you never experience the dota 1 days. Smurf is where you are a good player playing vastly below your skill level. That does not compare to the magic of randomly selecting a group of people of any skill level and putting them into a game. Freedom from mmr.

In the old days, becouse belive it or not i just to play dota 1 and i guess i still suck, i was one of those guys that had sounds recorded to answer instead of speaking. You could Kick stupid people away from your match, and that was amazing.
For me what makes dota experience bad in any match, is that there is no real system to protect people that wants to take the game seriously.
If you play a game, and there is an idiot that sudently quits or starta feeding, there should be a way to ban that guy from the match and stop the chance of loosing mmr and having a bad time. Specialy since this IS and will always be a team Game.

I just want to say one thing... if you keep thinking that u should be playing vhs games, but you are traped in ns braket... STOP THINKING that you should be there.
I made a new account and for some reason that I dont know, now i am trap INSIDE THE INFERNO VHS. people is too good and i suck, really,nothing seems to work and they have op tricks.
thats my conclution, and ill be back in normal skill in no time.
