Those are some steps that helped me alot:
1.Measure the smallest possible victory
2.Drill one thing at a time until it is unthinking habit.
3.Choose a position and try different things.
4.Debrief your successes and failures
And another important thing is to love your mmr , so you will care and try your best to get more and more. Investing alot of time and hard work it will make you much better than people that have only talent !
