He is so bad.
Tanky, initiation, slows up the ass, free flying ward, AoE stun that goes through bkb, flying axes that go through bkb AND give vision, AND can catch annoying heroes like AM, QoP, Tinker or invis hero trying to hide in trees.
Such a crap hero, man.

You can kill people with hook+rot
%-man reverse polarity, shockwave, empower.
And he got what.
Like, seriously.
He can't even win during laning phase. And there's better option if you just want to simply staying alive at offlane to get ult like nyx.
His skill doesn't really synergized to be offlaner. Magnus can max his shockwave early to harass, but if you max the axe, your animal is useless. Max the animal, you can't harass. Max the aura.... what the hell.

The fact that both his pickrate and winrate is really low at very high MMR despite that his skillcap isn't as high as other high-end hero means this hero is largely useless.
And the funny thing is that I understand the reasons why all hero that meets this requirement sound like they were pretty weak except this hero.
The fact that some people will get baited so hard if you go shitposting is worth all the result.

Nah. That aside this hero is really weak. We can't be proud to say that you're free to play all heroes, but only like 50 heroes fit the meta so you can just play them and just ignore the other 50+ hero. Atleast make it if a hero rarely picked, then he need good mechanical skill/ absurdly strong on a specific scenario (but not super specific). Then you can play any hero without feeling that the hero is seriously underpowered. The difference between the best hero and the worst hero in a meta is always so big it's annoying. How do I finish my all-hero challenge that way ?
it's called meta rotation.
A hero gets buffed until he is seen widely in the pro scene, then he is nerfed. Then people stop picking him. Then he gets buffed again.
There is never a time where all heroes are relevant. They come in and out of the meta. TB used to be absolute crap. Then he got buffed. pro's started using him. Then he got a nerf and people are using him less.
He was good once when not so many skills goes through spell imun (his stun goes through spell imun and the stun is long, though the cd is also long).
He once good to kite bkb'ed sven when boar's poison goes through spell imun.
His hawk once previous when the obs ward price was like 120 gold.
His aura is good, once drum is not exist.
Now everything change after the fire nation attacks.
