probably cuz one of the roamers that outclass him (mk) got nerfed so theres 1 less hero picked instead of him.

Every other hero which had a big increase in winrate had a direct buff this patch (I didn't think Razor's buff would do shit but apparently is has had some effect), or they benefit from the extra deny exp since they're good deniers - eg Viper.
But Slardar didn't get any buff and isn't who you think off when you think denying creeps.
