^^ i think because of your party with friends. don't party because it will lower your mmr, i dunno if this is real or not. someone just told me this "don't party if you want to have high mmr in calibration"

Well I usually play with my friends who are around 1.5-2k mmr. Is that another reason?

only for those matches cus that's party mmr. Your solo and party are separate. If you group with someone lower the whole match ends up as an average so if you're 3k and they are 1k you should end up in like a 2k match.
