i have found out that the best way to shutdown an enemy sf in the midlane is pick pudge and camp him, whether u go mid or roam ull fuck him up pretty bad after a couple of successful hooks and kills
im not even a good hooker (huehue) but my very prescence in the game is enough to render enemy sf's scared af and lose out so much farm while i freefarm mid with a raindrop, kill him once then roam the map and just generally cre8 space for the other 4 carries
u see dota is as much as a psychological game as it is mechanical. people do shit just because they think that a certain thing will happen, and they decide off of that scenario playing in their mind. with a pduge you might imagine what an enemy player is thinking off, thereby limiting much of his actions
against sf also u can just spam missle and then 2 reflect laser and sf cannot fight. If gets a fast bkb by the time u have hex he has a shitty 5s bkb and then his game is unplayable

I would love to see ideas from 5ks what they would pick agaist him i did around 2k maybe 1k mid games and true is that sf is one of the hardest opponent for me as he can out cs very ez if he is same skill bracket player
Like always. SF is very easy to gank early, any aggressive heroes can work especially if you can count on someone to help with a gank.

Passive laning against him will usually end up in his favor.
And yes, luna is great against sf. Spammable nuke, huge attack damage with the passive and can easily destroy an sf cs-wise. Will take the tower once she gets farmed, and sf will have a hard time trying to come back
thing is brood is too easily countered,and if the game takes long you become useless
I am wrecking him usually as storm spirit at lvl 6 but i am in trash bracket and so are the sf players.
Good brood cannot be counted. I am a shitty brood player but i still win lane vs axe

My brewmaster isn't very good, but I've done especially well vs sf in mid with him.
I just recently lost to an sf in mid with my morph.It's 2k and I suspect this sf is a 3k^ player.
dive him early and kill many times with support heroes
even shit like fissure + oov ursa can be enough to kill him if people dont fast tp

That might work as well.But I'm playing in 2k which means their are only few players that can hook properly.
