If you play like this you are relying completely on your lane farm to get your farm momentum going. A late Radiance with that playstyle would mean you playing a support Naga would be more beneficial. If you aren't using illusions to clear jungle you are going to have farm on par with a support, unless you steam some waves (which would be easy).
In teamfights unless you are six-slotted while everyone else is 4 slotted you aren't going to do much except your Ult and Net, both of which more than makeup for your low manfight potential.
split push till you fat as fuck, farm enemy jungle with you illu, show up to team fights, ult agressive if you can win the fight, or disengage when teamfight is lost and split p again
Naga can't solo carry like an AM or Spectre would, but you will be able to end up with the highest TD in the game so try to play off of that.
You can send illus into jungle for Riptide to weaken the neutral creeps before you get Radiance
Farms Radiance faster than way
It's a long ass guide, and I don't remember if I watched the whole thing, I think I did because Naga seemed OP to me.
He emphasized a lot on where you create illus so you can send them in time and split push longer
Although the map is before 7.00, the playstyle hasn't changed much I think
Watched DC vs Newbee in ESL Genting 2017 Finals, the fights were very synced
She was banned pick in some games
Even though rat is less effective now, Naga is on a whole other level of split push so I guess it's good
Now implaying somekind of enabling my super noob spec or am to be able to farm our own jungle. My rad timing is fine 18-20 is when i died 2 times in the lane. Seemsfine if i occasionally farm jungle because i send one of my illu near tower one illu near mid tower and one illu to farm nearest creep bot to other lane, clear creep with hero then manta to push then farm jungle with main hero. Rinse and repeat till i got very fat. Item progression is bottle arcane boots quelling blade rad bot octa manta diffu skadi butter, i dont know if i need hot over skadi though
i thini naga is very strong and tryed her 100 times as carry
but the hero itself is boring as fuck
i hate him and im vs her too
its a boring and bad way to boost ur mmr but thats my opinion
before radi u have to buy other items as naga like
arcane poor man aquila and farm radi
or boots aquila talon
bottle can be picked if u farm radi all over the map and moving
when u get radi go for octa ( if u need manta for fight very soon if ur team is little bad go manta ans join fight)
after than butterfly is good item sincw boost ur ilu dmg durability and more farm
after if u want tanky ilus go skadi ( heart is shit )
if u need purge go difu
if u need 1,5 atack stun ( good vs weaver) go abysal
naga can farm any item in 3 mins and what ur team need buy it and fight and win game
Three hardest carries in one team and managing to win xD
I guess the lost game was because AM and Naga were very fat and fucked up because Blackhole changed the game. You guys didn't have buybacks for some reason then they deathballed
Nothing particular
Just know when not to commit a fight and risk death, play turtle and stall the game until buyback is on again, you won't lose a lot since you have two hard carries
Shadow Shaman solo supporting two hard carries and sustained for 57 minutes though ;_; Throwed
We got 2 man black holed and we both die only me got bb then my team feed 3hero with no bb so its just me solo trying to stop them. The am went crazy and jump into 5ppl again without activating bkb and died and thats game. I ratted the whole game and the hero damage come from annoyed enemy. The game on me though
Ps it was a 644 they take our rax 1st
^ hex legit too, as i said what ur team needs
but if all going ok and u can split push wih no problem losing racks then go boost up ur ilus and destroy their whole base
hard to play naga dude. but from what i see pro's do is that right after naga complete's radiance they try to force a teamfight with naga to utilize the powerspike rad naga can do.
Maybe if you do that (you will virtually give your team gold/xp advantage so they would catchup from the space they've created for you.
farming should be an alternate between jungle and lane you will PMS, talon, arcane or bottle would help you tempo up your farm speed.
TLDR try to force a fight or 2 after you build a 13-18 min radiance.
If you can atleast destroy their mid lane tier 2 tower you can invade their jungle with your naga illusion and suffocate their farm.
farm enemy jungle with illusions
wear people down with illu and rad, then kill them with net
I dont understand...
Naga can teamfight but just not at some points in the game.
The key to suceeding in playing heroes is to identify which item or level timings give your hero a power spike, and capitalizing on this oppurtunity to win the game by maximizing its potential.
Naga certainly is weak during lvl 10 pre-radiance with no pointas in net but it doesnt mean you can't even fight, albeit with less impact compared to a lvl 15 naga with radiance and 2 talents.
You can definitely fight as a naga with 4 items and not just push waves. Just use Naga's mobility to weave in and out of battle when important skills are on CD.
^Naga can't fight as good as most carries
Radiance burns ever so slowly
In pubs, you are not synced with team when using ulti, the lineup may not need a setup too, an easy mistake they'll wipe you out in 10 secs
The concept is almost like AM, except that Naga pushes two lane at once and farms faster
So why waste time on fights that you can't win for sure, when you can split push to farm more gold and create space?
You've already wasted too much time getting that Radiance, don't slow down on your farm now.
But microing the jungle take a bit of practice right? What camp you have farmed and what enemy have farm
doesnt matter , matters to win game
this is my normal naga game i supose
https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/3023650167
and i was fucking roaming offlane xD
Naga needs insane farm to be effective. Octo radiance manta heart butterfly, drop octo and radiance super lategame or abysal blink
I like going diffusal after rad into manta into octarine to try to solve her fighting problems. I only like picking naga against lifestealer, because of net, and using song while he is raged to effectively separate him from his team. She also has illusions which lifestealer cant deal with well.
@Cheap Laugh Guy I'm definitely not implying that once you get Radiance you're supposed to be raring for every teamfight.
Good carries can balance farming with fighting. There are certain circumstances that will prpbably prohibit your fighting potential in the mid game as a Naga but if its not the case then don't hesitate on tping to help your teammates (assuming you have the skills available for use, which then adds another layer of strategy to your game)
at least in low mmr, if they dont have illusion clear or are confident they wont control you, you can just diffusal shitrape them in midgame teamfights
but then you dont have wave clear, the best you can flashfarm are all the ancients with your illusions.
in general from what i have seen im sure like 80% that diffusal is a good item to have on naga if you want to actually fight enemy heroes (i mean after radiance octarine manta, i guess).
Hero is impossible to lose if you can get octa before 30 min. The time i lose is when i try new thing
I like to get one early point in net just so that I can have some use in early fights should they break out around me. send illusions into the jungle during the laning phase and clear out the two closest camps. once you have radiance send your illusions to the jungle whenever they're up and split them apart to different camps.
I almost never put a point in net as the guide says that even if you get 1 kill with net it still dont worth it. I assume the only time its worth it is when you go for the fighting build andor you can get 3 kill with net
If you are just free farming and not getting involved then yeah I would skip it but so many times I find that if I had one point in net I could have secured a kill and if you're against like a storm or ember or some other mobile escape hero it could be the difference between killing them or them killing you.
its not that i'm looking to fight, I'm not roaming around the map trying to get kills but having one in net opens up the possiblilty. I think I usually get it at like six or eight and only if I think there is the possibility of it being helpful. and if you have like a pudge or a mirana net would be a great setup.

Just straight to the point ok?
Played naga 2 times and i cant seem to solo carry my team. What i currently do with my naga after rad octa is i cut creep wave again and split push as much as possible since 2k pep nonstop fighting after 15 min either if my team loses and they have to go back or my team win and get objective due to my split push. I am really confused how to teamfight as naga it seem like i just got destroyed no matter how much farm i get or shit. Currently my playstyle is i cut creep wave and split push till enemy team rages or my cores get farm from jungle. Also i almost never put my illu to jungle is it correct or not
