SnY was buffed quite a long time ago. I don't think +5% was the main reason.
The thing is Troll has the privilege to wreck T3 in just a few seconds at 20 min. mark with a suitable lineup, something like Venge that relies a bit on right click

He's a hard carry that farms real fast and can come online real quick, , it goes really well with the meta.

I played a few smurf games using him, and his jungling speed is faster than WK maybe even ursa

Only in melee form right? Before ive found troll to be underwhelming cuz i wud just die to 3 nukes or some shit, and felt bkb was mandatory almost every game i played him.

so in other words you find pretty much every single agility core aside from viper underwhelming? coz they can all die to 3 nukes in the early game, rofl. nothing wrong with buying a bkb anyway, when you're playing an in-your-face and pushing hero

I've been spamming him a bit and it's been pretty good. 5-1 record. I just go brown boots > morbid mask (then start jungling) > phase boots > shadow blade (then I take RS and start snowballing, or I get stronger). After that my items are pretty much game dependent.

^ You could have started jungling from 0:30 with Tango and Iron Talon

i find this hero pretty great tbh since hes a strong laner (can jungle if needed, too) and a kinda strong teamfighter in all stages of the game

Miracle was smurfing when he played Troll..

He's good in pro teams because his ultimate synergizes well with other heroes e.g. LC duel

He is not stomping pubs I'm sure of this
