thanks for the reply everyone, so this "skill" thing also depends on the skill of opponents? for example, i'm with normal skill opponents and i got 1000 gpm, that game would be considered normal skill since I'm battling some normies. Am I correct?

^yeah bracket is determined at the start of the game, and the system sees whether you perform well and have great impact. if yeah they raise your unranked rating. if not it lets you play a few more games from the same bracket and if you still suck your unranked rating is lowered

I dont get this whole "you should have 1k GPM in Normal Skill" BS. Because if you get paired with 4 single digit IQ teammates and the enemy has 5 competent players you are not achieving that. Ever. I dont care how good you are.

you are in 3700 bracket because you win your previous match 3675(+25)

you are in 2975 bracket because you lose your previous match 3000(-25)

No Haffy, because Valve likes to keep the win rates around 50% and as we have no control over who we are paired with in the solo Q sometimes you stomp, sometimes you get stomped. But you can't achieve 1k GPM consistently, every single game in the solo Q. Thats my point. So I wish people wold stop coming out of the woodwork saying "OMG U SUX U CANT GET 1K GPM EVERY GAME" - Because its just a useless, BS, soundbyte.

I agree 1k GPM is not a benchmark to be aimed for every game. However, what you can do consistently, is win. Why would you care what other people are saying as long as what you are doing is working for you/ Of course if they are offering sensible advice take it. But by no means give any thought as to what people are saying, even more so on a forum filled with 12 year olds.

That 50% winrate is complete bullshit. I climbed from 1.4k to now and there have only been a few select games in which I can really say my team dragged me down (those games happen when my behaviour score is disgustingly low and I've had a lot of reports, for some reason). Do what you want as best as you can and things should work out.

I just checked your profile and I can see why you are convinced a forced 50% winrate exists, you have been tilted for almost 4500 games that your supposed "tilt" mode has become your "normal" state of mind.

i'd say 800-900 is more realistic than 1k every game in NS/HS, because you'd sacrafice that 100-200 gpm to end sooner,

but i agree, it's quite easy to get 1k gpm in NS/HS

so yea, op, you have 490 avg gpm in NS/HS. a real VHS+ player would get at least 650 bare minimum

a 5k+ support would have like at least 550+ while not even trying to farm.

There is no such thing as "forced 50% winrate" although you tend to get idiotic teammates after 5 wins+
But then again, 5 wins and a single or two losses is not 50% winrate

You'd think so but what happens in practice, at least in SEA, is that depending on your luck you either end up with four retards or against them with decent teammates. It's never evenly distributed, the retards are almost always all on the same team in SEA trenches.
