it all comes down to the picks and how many of you're teammates are actually good at the game and know how to pick + have perfected mechanics as well and whether you're getting a guy in your team that smoked weed for the first time in his life and now he's playing with you or whatever there's so many factors i dont even know why i have to explain that to u

ppl who boost in 4ks tend to have up to 80% winrate despite those "30-40%" unwinnable games, and 4ks being okish in dota relative to the average level.

dude, trust me im not a 4k player :) one game with me and you could tell. all of my friends are 6k+ and i've been trolling a lot in the past thats why i'm only at 4,6k mmr at the moment , i've only started playing seriously like a month ago.
tho i agree with u, i was just fucking mad as hell making this thread. guess that statistic of 30-40% from my head is more like 10-20% then, it's just basic human psychology overeggagerating or whatever its spelt the stuff that makes u mad and not really taking note of the good stuff the same way you do with the things that make u mad

ywn if u like 1v1 tournaments, u can try DA besides faceit, they have quite a big playerbase in this segment afaik

they should just take all players over 3.5k who do less then 166 hero dmg per minute and put them in 4 low priority games, cause less than that and they are probably trolling. haha then people would stop dicking around and actually try to play as a team

I started playing more seriously about 3 months ago and I'm now sitting on 70% winrate over that period from 4.1-4.5k and games didnt even get hard yet.
Right now I am messing around with Jenkins offlane Pudge, but still win most games. My Void is easily on a 5k level though.

Only time I encountered 2k was when I played my friends account and my opponent mid tanked the creeps and then I went up and hit him once for first blood. I was just laughing and asking my friend how he loses in this bracket

unfortunately 4k game is now a low level game. because i heard 4k accounts can be bought with a cheap price around $10-$20. so im pretty sure 1k-2k people is buying accounts. so sometimes the game can be pretty hard and pretty easy in 4k, between one or more enemy team is account buyer which is the game will be the easiest game of your life or vice versa.

you're gonna get 1 in 1k games with an acc buyer
and even if you do, since there's 5 people on both teams, and you're not an acc buyer
it means 1 in 4 can be an acc buyer on your team, while 1 in 5 can be an acc buyer in their team
meaning that the enemy will be GETTING MORE ACC BUYERS
meaning it should increase your mmr

well there is a chance there will be less or more account buyer in a game. sometimes the match can be pretty balance or maybe not. just saying bro there's no guaranteed you will win the game easily unless you're good. i had a friend who's 1k and buy a 4k account, most of his games are losing so hard. like he won 5 games out of 50 games and get thrown to the low priority twice. too bad he doesnt expose his profile publicly but here's his friend id if you do not trust me: 357669471. don't even fucking bother trying to explain to yourself why or how something happened, more than 90%will either be won even if you were afk all game, and the other half will be a kind of a game where not even a 9k player couldn't do anything or carry the morons in your team
