actually, vanguard being part of abyssal blade nerfed like 95% of PL's damage, since some cores you listed make vanguard into abyssal blade or the other way around, PL will never kill them nor will he be able to amnfight any of them unless he's massively ahead. Ursa is just going to blink abyssal the real PL when found out, then he's going to have undispellable fury swipes debuff on himself, and then it's easy to find and focus the real one. If PL turns to attack ursa, well, ursa is likely to have some form of lifesteal and attack the real one, while PL's illusions' damage gets reduced by 32 every hit which basically nullifies his damage in this scenario.
also drow actually counters PL now dude, with aghs mjollnir bould PL and his illusions just fucking die not to mention that hurricane pike can keep drow away from pl for long enough for him to melt, unless he's six slotted and for some reason drow has no fucking items
Let's also not forget that silver edge is good againts PL as well to an extent, though you're often better off just building item sto outright kill him, not just destroy his ability to fight.
Anyone who read here and don't post dont read any normal skill posts here or anywhere about hero counters etc.

But why would you pick shaker when you can pick SK who lanes better, deals more damage most of the time, can jungle if needed (even with max caustic finale he's pretty good with a talon), has skills that are way more reliable, has an aghs upgrade that makes him destroy illusion based heroes and initiate from smoke range easily (smoke-ult-burrowstrike initation from 324234234 units away) etc. There's literally nothing that shaker does better than sk as it is now, even fissure block that's useful on support shaker in the early game is greatly outclassed by a well placed burrowstrike, especially considering that SK is going to deal way more follow up damage anyway. And SK is always going to have more levels and more game impact than shaker, plus he can deal with a dual lane pretty easily, especially if there's a mele carry, he can easily contest pulls against a dual lane, etc.
That's why I don't think ES is a good counter to PL anymore because then you have a shaker on your team, it is like with Viper, who is a "good counter" to Sven (not really, Sven will do his best not to face you before he has to, and at that point he has outfarmed you 5 times and will make sure that he's the one to make an initiation because even an underfarmed viper can kite you if you're retarded).
