Mine is off by about 300 currently.

Really? I don't find that to be true since if you want it to track your actual mmr you just have to set it on your profile.
I know it worked far more efficiently while dota was in beta. But now you just need to set your mmr on your in-game client and it should work.
It doesn't update immediately, however it does take an hour or two to get on track.
it didnt stop working, you just need to expose mmr on ur profile.
also both dotabuff and dota have their own delay in updating ur mmr (the one u have exposed in dota client, and its reflection on dotabuff).
i know that u can force-update mmr in your dota profile by hiding it and exposing it back again after every game of yours, but im not sure whether it will help with dbuff's delay.

My dotabuff mmr has been off by 25 for a few months now. Kind of frustrating anything I can do to fix it
