Fee Too Pee is right about the early game items.
When you go that route, even if your laning stage isn't decent, you can come back with just a little space to farm, or a few kills. If you do stupid shit like rushing BF and BoT, and you don't get those items, and refuse to get items that could help teamfights, or increase survivability, you are just hurting your team.
Looks like in most of your losses, you got shut down early, and no one had to worry about you for the rest of the game.
Late game, you want to look at Divine Rapier and BKB. Those two items will help finish, unlike the build you had here:

Other mid-late game items to keep in mind are Eye of Skadi, and Linkens Sphere.
