This is bulldong's guide to LD. Not sure if "normal" though
its more than 1 year old, ld was reworked too much since then for this guide to be relevant; even the skill set is different.
nice vod, afeect
i cried every time he said smthng like "im actually not very good with ld", or "a more experienced player would do it better", cz hes so much better than me its even a bit depressing.
This guy has 1200+ Brood games with 71%+ win rate: http://www.dotabuff.com/players/129325959
He also coached CIS players, including Mag and Phobos, how to play Brood. He shares some of his insight here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/3nqqmn/how_dkphobos_and_mag_learnt_broodmother_an/
Here is the original article in Russian: http://www.cybersport.ru/news/uchitel-dlya-phobos-i-mag-kak-professionaly-osvaivayut-geroev/#top_content
His BH is also good, might wanna check it out too.
when i got some issues with my stomach and want to vomit in order to clean it, i drink a lot of hot water, ur ld replays are not needed.
What s the point to learn "above average difficulty" heroes like LD/brood/np if:
1) ppl on high mmr know how to play vs em
2) their winrate is awful among all skill brackets (just look at brood, fucking 43% in 5k+ games)
3) u can be an average player on a hero who counters brood/ld and u r still be stronger than brood/ld spammer in 95% of games where u face em
So what's the point?
The only 1 looking good among them is Lycan imo
I d say that brood is viable in that small % of games where there re both:
1) the enemy has bad draft (no aoe, no heroes who are "uncomfortable" to brood)
2) ur team has a last pick.
And for this kind of games I don't really think u have to be a master of playing brood to stomp em
im slowly switching to comp dota and im working on my hero pool.
brood has bad winrate mostly due to the fact that she is often played by ppl who are not competent withthe hero, she is a very strong hero by itself if picked and played correctly. np, ld and beast are 3 out of 5 most picked offlaners, both in comp dota and in my pub games (low 5ks to low 6ks).
I remember that when I was checking profiles of brood successful players, the majority of them were playing brood mainly in normal matchmaking games, where coordination is awful (good for brood) and ppl barely trying hard to win (less detection and shit, good for brood again)
^im interested in competitive dota more than in pubs, though. im not an mmr grinder, and its clearly not the reason for me to learn new heroes.
@?-_-
Who r u, boy? Another TA pre-6.86 spammer who got his "real" 5k and consider himself a good player?
btw ?-_- is kinda right, no offense. you got no experience in higher tier matches, and cant rly apply ur game sense here.
@TS
Ye, that's true, just don't like when ppl claim that u r wrong without any explanation
TS explained why you are wrong, you are talking about stuff you know nothing about. And about TA, was she ever an OP hero? Like as in Voker or Storm or Lesh? Never a guaranteed win with her unless you know what you are doing. And despite having one hero I like the most I'm decently versatile.
@gg http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1539944456 WutFace I played with u xd I remember u were pinging me when I went and killed someone mid and u died near top rune or some shit, I have no idea what these pings were all about.
watch bulldong for pretty much everything u want to learn :D he's playing one of the best LD's, bounty, beast, bat, np, brood n all ur heroes. http://www.dotabuff.com/players/76482434
@0.0 lol I had no idea. How the fuck did you even find that game? Can't remember nothing about no pings hehe
i dont want to watch replays cz it takes too much time, i prefer vods with concentrated info
Hard to find new ones that are not from 2012 n shit. Maybe there are some streams on twitch with some high 6k's+ playing with commentary or something.
@gg I have good memory :D
i just want to maximize the efficiency of the process. generally vods are like replays but much better.

There are also few vods by Purge. And that Buldong guide is pretty neat even if outdated, tips about Recalling the bear are still relevant.
they are simple for someone whos used to play farming kind of heroes. i only know to supp and fight, and i never played any heroes that would prioritize farming, so now i find it pretty hard to learn them.
I had a good LD game recently, almost 6k average, made an ultra kill 6 mins into the game. Meanwhile our 6.5k mid THD is 0-5-0 versus 7k TA who is going ham. And ofcourse, game fucking crashes as we are taking the Ancient.
lol you are right. Saw only the 2nd one and assumed the intro guide was different.

EDIT: got enough info for LD
Preferably youtube ones
Not made by random sub 6k players
Not focusing on the basics that everyone knows only
