actually i see most threads containing real questions being answered properly every time, unless its some kind of "my team holds me back" shit. The meme threads are mostly inside ones, you can just skip them if you came to the forum looking for dota-related content.
I'm fully aware that these forums are "General Discussion" and I know exactly what that means in terms of quality control (or lack of it).
I just think there should be a second forum called "Dota" so that anything not actually relevant to dota can be deleted.
Let the trolls fester in general and let the people who are asking and answering real questions have their fun in their forums.
i dont see how other threads affect dota-related threads, and i cant figure out whats the sense of separating those two, given that dotabuff is not an overpopulated resource.
It makes the forums less enjoyable because you can't post serious content without the threat of stupid trolls bringing their taint to your post.

like triple says - ask a proper question and 9 times out of 10 you will get a helpful reply on this forum. Whine about your teammates holding you back and you'll get every bit of abuse you deserve.
