^Cool, we're practically in the same industry. I once had a chance to avail a lucrative cadet program from a German shipping company from when I was still at school. Blew that opportunity just when I graduated though. If I were to be totally honest though, Dota1 played a big part on that blunder. And now here I am, delayed 2 years in my career path relative to my batchmates who are probably wipers or oilers now for at least a year.
hah, i got a contract with DAMEN shipyard. gotta work 2 years after college for them (this if i dont fail any exams, or i will lose the scholarship). hope i can do the master degree in that 2 years aswell, so i will end with 6 years of study, master degree, and 2 years experience.
didnt do anything practical yet, prob next summer.

why does anyone care what other people here make? For one someone living in the US ought to make a ton more than someone living in like ukraine or belarus or where ever so there's no comparison.
I'm 31, ancient by dota terms, I have 1.5 kids, I write software, I live in Michigan, I love video games. I play guitar but not a lot recently. I like sports but not enough time for them and video games and the plethora of quality tv shows out there.

I'm somewhat of an audiophile, I like expensive stuff. I play my Keyboard with Synthesia every now and then. I'm not serious about it, but I do enjoy it. I mostly play anime music, but I like some classics like Danny Boy.
Currently, I'm saving money to buy a Herman Miller Embody chair. That is, if I like the chair enough after I get to test it soon.

(still) Math student, self taught musician who plays el./acoustic guitar, bass, keyboards/piano and sings occasionally, been in quite few bands, etc. Also music producer/composer who recorded quite a lot bands and wrote some music.
I've been working with/repairing computers and electronic devices for a long time and taught people math/physics for money meanwhile.
last few years pretty much a Dota 2 addict, well i've been addicted to video games my whole life basically, from Nintendo consoles onwards, so God knows what i could have been by now if i never touched games.
