it's only gay vs anti-gay.
because everyone that isn't gay is anti-gay? come out of your cave, it's 2016. you're on the wrong side of history.
look. I get it. You feel threatened because a gay might make a pass at you, or god forbid, touch you. You're not afraid of gays, you're afraid of rapists. Women all over the world live this fear every fucking day, but instead of being a small portion of men they fear, it's all of them.
Fuck, if I was doing a masters in some social science right now, this would definitely be something I'd do a thesis on.
Nick Yee, the guy that started Quantic Foundry studies this sort of stuff. Quantic foundry's blog talks about these topics a lot. It's super interesting. He wrote a book about cultural interactions in games and virtual spaces called The Proteus Paradox. Just finished it; it's really good. You might dig it.
So you try to calm me down saying that all men are rapists and some of them are gays?
Ok...
I'll consider leaving my cave after Eurovision... mb not...
@scraps yh looks intriguing, both the business idea of quantic foundry as well as the proteus paradax
all men are rapists all women are hoes and tricks lick on deez nuts and suck da deek, all black guys are robbers and have no fathers and eat watermelon chicken and cool aid on weekdays.
noooo I didn't say all men are rapists, I said that what you fear in gay men (unwanted advances, sexual assault) is what women fear in straight men, which are far more numerous.
proteus paradox is dope. read it.
I'm not like woman with fear of sex, I fear of mentally diseased men, who can't even understand where is the right place to put their d*cks in.
This is why I actually like to play Dota tbh, that's why I play on US East, EUW and other servers too.
I like the diversity we have here. It's great, much more diversity than League, I have to say.
You can learn so many languages and cultures just by playing Dota.

Dota gets us together. We give each other "well played!" statements, commend each other, laugh at each other's jokes, and work as a team. Dota, and other such online games, is thus a fascinating cohesive glue that is binding together an otherwise fragmented and disillusioned world. Dota is hope. Dota is friendship.
I gotta say I haven't seen much of this though.
I like DOTA 2, because it has an element of poker. Every match you try to win with random cards (players) in your hand (team).
Also, DOTA is gay-free!
(Only Lesbian Commander looks suspicious)

@scraps
i think that it's a bit naive to think that you can have a meaningful discussion with soultrap
huh homophobia in 2k16
#Just3rdWorldThings
can i say such stuff without being banned if its about my own country?
Not all Russians are homophobic. Just wanted to say that there are Russians who support gay rights too.
What do you think about cannibalism?
Meat is meat, right? Our ancestors practiced that many years ago and it still exists on some islands, I guess. So it must be ok, right? Some people are just not like us, they need to eat human flesh. It's harsh to call them "cannibals", lets call them "gourmet" to not hurt their feelings. We are not some kind of gourmetophobs, right?
^Tell this to LaVoy Finicum or citizens of Ferguson. Or explain how many more Bushes or Clintons will be your presidents.
P.S. If you so cannibalophobic, what about necrophiles? They say that dead woman is still a woman for 10 minutes. That makes sense, right?
Dont forget the flaming side OP...ppl say rude things and dont forget this forum...
I opened a few threads and almost every thread are some unkind, sarcastic, and rude human beings
I don't want to hurt your feelings, I just want to show on example that if you accept gays then you have to accept people with other sexual disorders. By following this road at some point everything will become "normal" even the most disgusting and unthinkable things, because this road leads to hell.
Most of the human morale is a product of the way our species has lived. Homosexuality, incest, cannibalism, murder, pedophilia are all "crimes" committees of which are harmful for the community (talking 'bout old times). So humans (and many other animals) evolved to have fear of those and isolate the "sinners". I can't really blame anyone who still has that mindset. Tolerance towards minorities is still a relatively new thing and let's be honest, there's not a clear guideline of what is good and what is not. Entire human morality, old and new, is subjective to humans' lifestyle only, invented by humans aND is very complicated. Think about it, 100 hears ago gays had to hide for life. Now it's suddenly OK. Maybe in 50 years we will witness legalization of incest, same arguments can be used to defend this, it doesn't hurt anyone the same way Homosexuality doesn't (unless it results in a birth of a child).
It was a great idea to build a wall on a border with Mexico. You don't want to see those lower-grade-people in your country, right?
And if you talk about nazi, look at EU first. They showed their real face to those refugees. At this rate a new Hitler may appear there in next 5 years.
But Russia is multicultural multilanguage country. If situation were as bad as you describe, Russia would collapse already.
Also, when you talk about economy, tell me what is national debt of USA at this moment? There are so many digits, that I always forget it. A little advise: start learning Chinese language.
P.S. BTW, do you know that 1 out each 7 russians is muslim? Because I don't want to answer your stupid questions about Syria.
If you talk about negative effects of inbreeding, I assume that you never heard about contraception...

That's super racist.
Also, your opinions don't represent all Russians, so don't talk like your opinions represent all Russians's opinions.
they dont have neo-nazi movements. no other country in europe has neo-nazi movements like russia.
Gonna disagree with you, almost every country has a neo-nazi movement somewhere.
racism in americas significantly less widespread
Also gonna disagree on this one, if you go to certain states.
turns out that kind of racism isnt seen anywhere else in the world.
Some parts of Alabama, for example.
It is amusing watching Americans talk shit about Russia when their leading presidential candidate of one of their 2 parties suggests torture, killing children and other war crimes.

Guys, the 21st century has reached a point where eastern and western cultures have been polarized. Yet there are some things that both the west and east does. Sadly the list is short; gaming is one of the few things tho. And among the many games played the world over, dota is among the few which sees a diversity of players in a single game; English, Russian, Chinese, Indian, American, Peruvian, Italian, Pakistani, Turkish, Australian. Ethnicities - white, hispanic, asian. Religions. Like, think about it. This is one of the few platforms where ppl from all over the world casually interact with each other. Most of the time we're swearing at each other - but at the end of the day we have to work together to achieve a common end. We sit behind IP addresses and no one can see our actual face - but it is at is very essence, a celebration of human cooperation.
Dota, my friends, has revolutionized globalization, and the global international community of the younger generation. After the ill-fated Paris attacks (and other unfortunate incidents) Muslims have become the target of widespread hate all over the west. But, since a lot of us play on EU West, Europeans are playing side by side with people whom they might not be that comfortable with if they actually knew their identity.
