6.84 was a very good patch gameplay wise it just had a few broken heroes unfortunately.
i think drafting is a more complex in 6.85 and that makes pubs more stressful than the previous patch.
It's the EXACT same patch (With exception of Alch), just retardedly broken heroes like Lesh were balanced.
how is it the same patch, maybe playwise, but otherwise you have completely new heroes in every position
Its nearly the same without the storm and blue pony every game. Same casters fell off; thats it.
Yeah I agree, it's like 6.84 but the op shitters like lesh and storm were balanced, don't get played every damn game now. But wr, daaamn that bitch is annoying. Other than that, good patch. Even really annoy, strong heroes like spectre and doom are not overplayed so it's enjoyable. 6.84 with non stop bloodseeker sucked. Basically I do not mind op heroes as long as they aren't spammed. But that almost never happens.
6.84 was the liberation ticket from that 6.83 hoho haha shrapnel/troll/axe hell...

So came 6.85 to save us from hell again!
Now we must be patient again until next patch before we got Doomed, Acid Sprayed and Haunted into ragequit.
I just want to say that 6.84 was one of the best patches so far i can tell.

I hated 6.84, all my favorite heroes were weak, and the whole team fight meta sucked to me, I like ninja ganking meta's, perfect for my Slark and Night Stalker.
This meta is the most balanced meta I have ever played in when playing this game. I literally watched the major, and saw the most diversity ive seen in a long time, even 6.84 meta heroes are still picked.
well the majors were pretty much right after the start of 6.85, there is no extremely op hero yet (ofc, doom..) people didnt figure out how to play alch yet etc. pp. at the start of every patch ppl say "WAOW SO MUCH HERO DIVERSITY" well ofc when ppl dont know what to play

yeah, same for me, not even gonna deny that :D but the amount of LCs/Alches/Spectres/Dooms/(Tusks) in my games are astonishing
Well of course, every meta is gonna have those " strong " heroes, and there's nothing we can do about that, but accept it!
I'm happy to still see Tusk, I really learned to appreciate him after 6.84, his lines are so bad ass.

Troll sniper was worse than lesh storm and bloodseeker but still were op as hell. Now this meta is fresh and isnt really fully understood yet. Havent seen much hero spam yet.
I dunno, I like 6.83, I went from 2.0 to 3.1 in just that patch alone earlier this year. XD
Sniper was so easy to kill, I guess I played a lot of Slark at the time. Troll was OP but most 2Kers weren't very good with him, so at the time I couldn't really feel the difference between a good Troll and bad Troll I guess :P
But Snipers Shrapnel like the guy above said, was pretty damn annoying, especially that little laugh.
Yes, I want Sniper, Troll and Jug meta back. It was great time for supports. I can keep playing support in 6.84 and 6.85 only because I greatly developed my masochistic side recently.
I actually dont understand Soultrap post.
Supports almost never mattered in 6.83, games were going late no matter the early game so supports fell of heavily.
Also 6.84 tweaked the Assist gold and supports greatly benefit from it
every update since mid 2012 is just one long downhill slide. with every patch we get closer to lol 2 with better graphic
People should stop sucking FrozenToad's dick, every patch since 6.80 has been pretty bad.
