I have a family friend at college park, and she said at night time the internet speeds can hit 900 mbps. I can confirm coz at my university, around 1am onwards when mostly all sleeping, I'd get 800mbps or more.
Even during peak hours at afternoon you'd still get above 50-100 mbps
USe server is located in sterling right? so i'll be almost as close as possible, ~10 ping? :D

That's not entirely true, it depends on where you are. If you're in a rural area and don't have access to cable your internet probably sucks. Also we pay quite a bit more for speed than other countries. Of course that might just be cus it's what market will bare, we have more disposable income for internet I guess. Like my chinese coworker was bitching about his cell phone bill and why it costs so much more for phone service here than in China and I said well yeah but isn't your income here like triple what you made in China?

i've never lived on campus since this shit doesnt exist in brazil so i'd like to know basic dota related stuff like is the internet usually good enough to play? i'll be sharing a suite with other 3 br scrubs so idk if i'll be able to play properly
