It runs with Source 2 instead of Source 1, which means better performance on lower end machines, better pings and custom game support. Also comes with loadsa bugs though.
eventually it will be the main client when it's less buggy. For the most part it's a place to play cool custom games, queue times for ranked mm is way longer, add in the risk for -25 mmr due to a bug it's not really worth it if ranked.
I like the map and look of it better though
queues are only longer for us shits, euro is ~2 min at 5,6k but u get 4 4ks in ur team
So what is the overall reason you would want to play Reborn if its full of bugs? Can u clarify that. And btw, has 10v10 been added yet? That sounds like a very fun mode you would want to try out :D

also therse not that many bugs. i only encountered 1 bug in ranked which is when u wait too much and dont pick a hero and it automatically randoms u one, the person that randomed the hero cannot enter the game and has to abandon
dude where have you been? It's the new dota and it's in beta. In game it's almost the same, some textures are slightly different. There aren't that many bugs (though right now clicking on map during picks to show lane choices isn't working).
Main reason to play it for ranked has been your compendium coin rewards are increased 50% and there's an achievement for winning 15 ranked matches. There's also a lot of new game modes for non ranked, like crazy modes like warlock death match with all warlocks.
Queues were really long like two weeks ago, this week has been fast.
Well it's not fully implemented yet. The hero browsing is way better. A lot of stuff seems to be missing.
Also you may want to recheck your hotkeys cus even though I had remapped push to talk to ~ key it kept bringing up the scoreboard until I remapped scoreboard key. And / was default for opening console so any time I typed a ? it would open console. Was really stupid. Had to remap console too. And it won't show in your hotkey layout until you change it.
Armory is a huge downgrade I feel. They tried to make it look more modern, but instead it's a huge mess and you can't even properly search for items.
BTW, I haven't noticed better performance on my low end notebook.
Also I can't use some keys to play reborn. *sigh*
It has public custom games like warcraft 3 battlenet. That's all I use it for. Custom games are different maps made by other players and sometimes also modified dota (like x20 multiplier, which increases most ability and item values in the game by 20). A lot of them are deathmatch maps where you get a set of abilities (sometimes with upgrades) and just try to kill your opponents enough times, but there's still a bunch of maps with different objectives (even a football game with dota characters).

What is this new mode u can pick upon opening the dota2 client? I heard that u were able to play 10v10 at some point and thought it sounded fun from watching it at the international. Is it just like a troll mode of dota2 or does this actually count on ur dotabuff profile as well?
