ngl i had a pretty traumatic experience with oil not two days ago the oil started sizzling and spitting like mad apparently spartula had some water on it or smth but it was volatile enough for me to not be able to flip the nuggers normally so i had to dance around it trying to flip them super fast before im burned
needless to say i was PRETTY MAD about it because eating nuggets with 1 side being literally coal and the other completely uncooked wasnt in my plans that day and getting burned by oil like that is very annoying
the problem is not the thickness but the coverage
if it sizzles like that then its going to get literally everywhere not just hand area
it can even go to my thighs
i dont need to buy anything 95% of the time the sizzling isnt a problem at all and its only sometimes that it turns into a local atomic bomb and i doubt any standard measures will help here
