no strong belwas made me stop watching. Long line of interesting characters the dinner theater actors that show has to get to sign huge contracts can't play so they just cut out (patchface, vargo hoat etc.). Oh you had a speaking part in a Murder, She Wrote episode? take this pivotal character. You were the villain in an Eddie Murphy vehicle flop in 1986? You should be our main villain. You were in TWO toothpaste commercials? Which of the Stark kids do you want to play?

Only good thing about casting/writing i can say is after completely fucking up Asha Greyjoy's character so terribly they at least changed her name.

it's more interesting to watch

The books are epic though,but I like the changes the series made for the most part.

The show is better than the books. The first book was good but the sequels drone on and on with mindless details, there's not enough focus and it gets dull.

There's still a ton of storylines to flesh out in the show but I'm most interested to see if the queen of dragons ever uses her army and attacks or if she is contented to stay across the sea for eternity. I didn't read all the books and I hear she never does invade. BOOOO I think that deserves a re-write.

totally agree. the last book was kinda even difficult to read and i practically skipped 3/4 of it. diz non-stop descriptions...
