gratz. But I watched your games and tbh, comparing you to other 7k players like veldt, w33, lizzard is not possible. You are not even 50% of them.
^Stupid guy alert, stay away boys.
Very much congrats Devilish. It´s nice to see even more people managing to reach the very challenging 7k mmr.
Obviously deserves it otherwise he wouldn´t be there.
I´ve spectated a ton of your games and it´s always exciting and teaching.
I´d love to have a coach of your calibre, however I´m just a student and can´t really afford spending money on other things than food and appartment.
Good luck man, wish to see you in the upper pro scene. :-)
how the heck does someone with a 7k mmr end up in a "high skill" match?
check his recent games
^Normal matchmaking, no 2k limit in stacking.
He obviously was stacking or playing at weird hours.
@Timpey calibrated at 4.8k but that was so long ago.
Basically, I realized a few things 2 weeks ago and from then on I just kept winning the majority of my games (70%). 6.3 to 7k in 2 weeks.

It is actually easier to get from 6k to 7k than to 5k to 6k because all you need to do after 6k is carrying your team against 4k people.
@Sam
That's a generalisation; I've seen (on streams) a 7k player being paired with 4k's on their team vs some (not all) 5k's as enemy.
For example, lets say you have 6800.
Your team MMR = 6800, 4400, 4600, 4800, 4200 (avg = 4960)
Enemy MMR = 5360, 4560, 4960, 5060, 4860 (avg 4960)
--> The higher your solo MMR this, the bigger the difference is between your allies & enemy is, the higher is the chance of them getting raped. If you think about it, there is still a big difference between 4200-5000 in gameplay, so if you are 7k and if you queue during offpeak (less players in MM pool --> higher variance in between player's MMR) you can get an ally is 3900 and an enemy who is 5k. Now imagine a 3900 player laning 1x1 vs a 5000.
Likewise, If we use my previously mentioned example you can get a 4200 player vs 5360...
I've actually been paired up with 6k/ 6,300 when I queued at like 5 in the morning CET, I think I had ~4.8k solo at that point.
Still you should be able to easily win without depending on your team if you play a carry you are good at.
@Valv pls "Basically, I realized a few things 2 weeks ago and from then on I just kept winning the majority of my games (70%). 6.3 to 7k in 2 weeks.". Don't leave us hanging :P.
Mokujin, I'm 3.7k-4k player(3.6k average mmr)
I've laned countless times against 4.4-4.5k mmr players, even played 1v1 SF mid against them, and let me tell you - it's not that different from my skill-level.
What I want to say, it's not like they got much bigger mehanical skill then me.
I can pretty much hold my own against them, sometimes I can even outlane them-win them.
It happened quite often, actually.
Now never play a ranked game ever again to keep yourself on 7k. Also wtf whats that 4700 guy doing on your team man mmr is so unfair. Dunno if there is a real difference between 7k and 5k ish but i think there is :D
Obviously there is, but the difference is narrower the higher you go cuz there's like almost nobody in that bracket
Yesterday my friend and I played against 2 6k players (we're both 5k) and we almost won, sadly our 4k mmr trash insisted on mid and went 7-27 like the retard he is while their 4k players were all on support. (That's like almost a 1.5k mmr difference)
Man how the fuck do you win against ember pickers? All that hero literally needs to do is place a remnant 1000 units behind him for safety and spam click w twice
Worse than playing Wraith King against PL since WK can buy BKB to stall the mana drain
It's a tragedy I don't get more players like you on my team so I don't need to be the balancing factor and do the heavy lifting
why would you say that you can play good vs 4.5 k mmr when the thread is about 7k player???
wp dude! nice meepo you have there. I remember you used to play on SEA, you moved to US?
I live in murrica but go back to SEA over summer. Got to #1 on the leaderboard there. Gotta say that US has so many more high skilled tryhard players whereas SEA has more tryhard picks.
@shredyou I know what you mean. It doesn't mean you are as good as 4-4.5k players but in certain matchups, there isnt a lot a marginally higher skilled player can take advantage of. Like, a 4.3k and 5k might come out relatively even in a qop vs storm matchup. Again, it doesn't mean that they're equally skilled. The 5k will most likely make much better contribution for the rest of the game and sadly the 4.3k won't realize what he did wrong and will start blaming his own team. Happens way too many times in my unranked matches but instead of getting pissed about it I just watch baddies be bad and mad and laugh that im not losing points.
Anyway, I will be streaming in an hour or two!
" Basically, I realized a few things 2 weeks ago and from then on I just kept winning the majority of my games (70%). 6.3 to 7k in 2 weeks."
:O. Plz enlighten us trench noobs.
@valv plz
How the hell is qop vs storm an even matchup???? wont storm get rekt rly hard??? or be left behind in cs by a huge margin if he manages to stay alive? coz if thats not the case than im basically 1k mmr lower than i should be. As far as i know qop is a lane dominant hero she wins the lane most of the times thats what she is good at, if she doesnt shes gonna have alot of trouble later, while about storm on the other hand thats what every1 says that he aint that strong inlane especially before lvl 6.
@ginseng strip
ok nvm its late and im getting sleepy, my mistake fck visual perception id rather be blind xD.
@Shred you to bits I played with you and sorry bro but you do not play a good mid SF. You got rekt in lane and could not recover for the entire game http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/959225062
Ive played with 4,5k mids and they are waaaay better than anyone under 4k (hence why they are higher level) and they will win really hard as they did vs you in this game.

Thanks to all the peruvian feeders on the enemy team. Thanks to all the 4k's who let me mid. Thanks to miraclechipmunk for tilting in my last 2 matches with him.
From now on, I'll be focusing on streaming and coaching. This is my stream link if you're interested:
