MMR inflation causes this since everyone new accounts adds in thousands of more mmr to the system.
A bracket system would not change anything as it would still internally use MMR or an MMR-like system that can be affected by inflation or deflation.

Well, in march when leaderboards were introduced, you had people like Veldt, tompson who had 6.4, 6.5k. Last had 5.2k in EU. Today, almost 7 months last one has excatly 6003 mmr. It is incredible how it is growing.
DO u think Valve needs implement some kind of brackets. Static brackets. Mmr list is going up, we need to finally see what is good and what its not. 5k today may not be the same 5k as it was on first day of MMR. Whats ur opinion?
