Shred: Eh, most of their damage was physical (blademail is magical?) I guess it would help against blademail but their lockdowns (abyssal) ignore bkb :C

Scept_R: The damage scaling is pretty pathetic for a hero with low stat gain so stats are generally more beneficial.

Was playing Ember Spirit. Had BoT,Battlefury,Daedalus and 3 rapiers. I had 2 spare in the stash. We should've lost games ages ago (them massively outcarrying us) but we kept it in and defended a crap ton. We decided it was now or never and needed to push and I basically blew up and lost 3 rapiers, we go to their ancient when we were nearly teamwiped. I bought back and grabbed my 2 rapiers then TP'ed to a creep near the ancients. I placed down a safety remnant and proceeded to fight. I got caught out and had time to port back to it, I panicked and died again D: literally lost 5 rapiers in under a minute in a 83 minute game.
tl;dr lost 5 rapiers gg.
