but there should be a way to challenge people to 1v1 and the loser gets perm ip ban and any other account with similar posts /obviously being the same person will also get ip ban.

1v1 go for 10 min and you had lost cause 10 min already paused but since volvo doesnt end it there and i was gonna lose the tower anyway i just lost it to get over it! since i was mad i made a mistake (misplay and draw kill) earlier which cost me the level that turned the creep equilibrium in your favor and cost my towers hp. after all if the agme isnt done at min 10 its creeps that count and you wouldve lost
It's a joke QyyF. I've read the thread and checked in on it while I was at the beach. There are good and bad ideas in here. Notably bad : 1v1 for mod. Dota isn't a 1v1 game. Modding and dota are two different skills. + I think benao would win that match lol.
1v1 Mod is bad not because 1v1 is bad measure of dota skill but simply because moderators shouldn't be picked based on dota skill. There are plenty of abusive people with high in-game skill.

You ^ and many here have weird perceptions about me. Are you all implying i can't keep things professional? Do you even know what i do irl? What I'm capable of and what i can and can't run under my supervision?
Do you guys srsly consider me a 15 y/o without a whit of responsibity and respect towards something of this magnitude? I can tell you now that i got no future in life if i can't even handle something like this based on the years spent shaping my life and future. So please a little respect, Ok? This is not your average "2k player ruining my 3k games thread".
Also on the "Mods". I will be the only moderator for now until the site grows in which case we will community vote on who it will be and I will select candidates. There are "Site admins" who will report directly to me and each will only control their topic or subforum and will only be able to warn users and I will get an email when a users hits 5 warnings and I will see what they posted and if it warrants any direct interaction in either a temp ban or a personal email from myself.
a few things:
1- The number of users will determine the number of forums. When the site first goes "live", there is a good chance the mmr based boards wont be set up yet since the user base may or may not be there to populate that many boards. As the forum grows and community members choose to join the community, those boards will be created. (That is the current plan)
2- Their are several reasons 5k's wouldn't be able to post in 3k forum. First off, 3ks cant post in the 5k area and there is an issue of fairness. Then there is the fact that a healthy and lively coaching sub forum is better promoted by having high level players providing low level players insight in the coaching forum. Lastly, it would protect 3k players from "verbal abuse" (though my god that sounds lame when I say it in my head lol).
basically there will be a subforum for coaching and 3ks deserve a spot just as much as 5ks to talk about their dota.

^Then make "wave" category and let the other 5k-s post wherever they want? Also, what about the 3900 players? Are they still 3k-s?
No point to put this kind of restrictions in my opinion.
There will be no restrictions for bracket for now.
I think between say 3.7-4.3 and 4.7-5.3 you should have access to both forums as MMR typically fluctuates a few hundred points?
