you can never ever be in the toplist not just becuase its impossible but youre not good enough :(
lol i know i am not in top 50, but at least i d like to see my rank improve gradually from where ever it is.
and for that to happen, i need to know my rank for that hero.
is there any other way apart from being a pro to know one's rank for a hero?
If you earn money by playing you are still not capable of seeing ur rank. To see ranks you have to have a DB+ account. To see whether your rank is you have to go through all the heroes and to see whether you are in the top 50 or not. Ranks below this are simply irrelevant and therefor ignored.
Either top 50 is calculated with the DBR of 2 years ago. So even if you have improved the old stats it would not have a mayor effect on your rank.
Regardless you should not bother about the rank of a hero since it was mostly people which had a high general rating and achieved a good 30+ games winrate and kda.
Nothing too special, you shouldnt worry about rank at all

I can see the top 50 hero ranks in the heroe menu, which lists all the top players for that particular hero.
Is there any way to see my rank for a hero?
This would help me know how close I am to being the best at a particular hero.
