You are a subnormal if you can see the difference between 60 and 120 fps.

You can't "see" the difference between 60 fps and 120 fps, but you can easily "feel" it.

120 fps is noticeably smoother than 60 fps

                    Ples Mercy

Now try 60fps and 60hz, OMFG SUPRISE IT'S AS SMOOTH AS 120FPS + 120HZ OH MY GAWD I DON'T UNDERSTAND.

First - the difference between 60Hz and 100hz+ can be seen on LED displays and plazmas. Also, FPS difference over 60fps is noticable, if u have really good eye. More is better, buf 60hz @100hz is completely fine for most things.

                            i wish i had steady 60 fps. #10fpsgaming.

I can personnaly see the difference between 60hz and 75hz (cann't between 75hz and 120 unless you switch it in front of me, cause 120 is a bit darker)

                                Randall

i cant play on 60fps. whover is saying 60fps is smooth has not played on 120fps constantly. it's like the game is lagging for you at 60fps.

                                  Zahard

60 is horse shit. i would quit dota if i had to play on 60 fps

                                      ^what if u had to play with 10fps, my friend ? :))))

single human eye cant see more than 2,4 frames per second, therefore we as a human species cant see more than 5 fps

                                        Zahard

i would not play dota with 10 fps. i have constant 120 fps and sometimes i remember i was trying to make it look even smoother

                                          Hopeless

60 fps is enough for dota imho...

That said I run pretty much the highest settings on an old computer. I'm pretty sure if I turn things down I could get about 80-100 fps... but I prefer the game looking good.

If there are any check box graphic settings that are particularly taxing on FPS, let me know as I would turn them off.
