I did know that was friendly banter, that's why I made this thread. It's mainly letting people know that techies are coming out at the end of this month.

There's mb less than 10 people on earth that were able to play it correctly back to dota. So in dota2, where it's not even released ...

@Vaikiss, I saw only one single guy good at techies, he was winning in eedl by himself almost all his game, very far from the useless techies. that we see, or just from the one blocking the game.

A techies that block enemy in every move they attempt, push correctly, win teamfights and don't care of enemy having 2 gems and a necro3, that's a true techies player.
If you found two guys playing techies that awesomly, and not against uber trash, then you can call yourself lucky.

Even if the best players playing techies I still think when best players playing any other heroes still more usefull than techies anyway. I remember in dota 1 bassicly when you have techies in your team its 4v5 game and autolose in 80% cases. Buy gem and techi is 0 bassicly,well yeah there is night fog and stuff but still mega useless.

Tbh with the 80% mres on lycan wolfs you just pick lycan, necro 3 and laugh at that sad excuse of a hero

Very good techies win by himself, it's at the very least as op as the most op hero that ever walked in dota2 (it's op but in a different way than earth spirit pre-nerf though)
Good techies only block the game, and shall the late win
Else poor 4v5 team, only saved by opponent rage leave.

I'm writing stuff of back to pre ti1. Good techies isn't enough, and very good techies (in eu) could be counted on the finger of a single hand. It's so normal that almost no1 saw the true potential of techies.

I was considering myself as a good techies (for a techies), until the very day i saw THE techies player, that make me feel like an undershit techies player

i rememmber carrying clanwars with techies solo mid with my team back in the days

i rememember there was like 3 or 4 chinese teams back in the days that was utilizing the hero

not to mention people who had thousands of techies games played in pubs so thats way above 10

I don't remember his nick, he was playing on eedl and actually had a pretty garbage score there, (he was almost on the line of the unvouch for unskill). It's all I remember from him (apart from his amazing techies skill ^^). Mb som1 else that was playing there remind about his nickname.

I used to be really good at techies, once you get sceptre you can actually quick cast your ult and it does an excessive amount of damage and you can continue doing so till you either die or suicide....always place the wards uphill.
