wisp and lich are like the only viable heroes for a dual lane mid
i'd say it's pretty much a guaranteed win for a lich dual lane mid if the enemy mid doesn't have a mid hero who goes bottle (like invoker). any time u shut down a core the game is ez
When my mid has something quite weak, most notably SF, against something that could easily kill him or needs a lot of farm and exp, such as Invoker, I consider dual mid with him as Lich.

It was tiny and wisp and when i was practicing mid too.
This is around 3.5k MMR btw. Watafak.
Lich provides good success. Sac creeps within range of your partner, outside of the enemy range. (Usually on your high ground.) Rotate for runes and zone wth Q. Works pretty well. Trade as much regen as you can. They can't afford to trade regen. You can.
Its just the mediocre sheepmindspan of dotaplayers that fail to understand that dual or even trilan @ mid is the better choice and clearly more logical than say the "safelane".
when pudge and ember picks at the same time and refuse to go to side lane... a DUO MID IS BORN!
I've done lich mirana a couple times. Lich basically negates the xp difference, with mirana I'd frost the mid, mirana would leap over the creaps and arrow (hard to doge when you're slowed by frost). Easy kills. We didn't win every game though cus people are often not prepared to offlane.
I also faced a non planned dual mid where the enemies shadowfeind and pudge were fighting over mid so they both went mid. I was on sniper. It SUCKED. I basically could not do anything because sf kept razing/denying/last hitting while pudge just ran around the creeps rotting and trying to get hook position. Vs only pudge I can keep the wave between me and him and last hit but against a ranged too I'd get harassed any time I got close to the creep wave and if I harassed back pudge would try to hook. I actually think a competent pudge + whatever mid might score some early kills and let pudge go roaming.

Just curious like the Io+Tiny combo for example.
If anyone does this from time to time, what are your experiences and fails and such. Some of my stack friends are really big trolls and they like to play weird combos and or pick random heroes @ times so I do things like this with them sometimes. How successful must it be to win games or how much impact does it affect your other lanes.
