Did dorkly really write, that chinese teams should not be invited? You will make a tournament, but not invite the best players? E-Sports is about competition. The finals were one sided, but so was germany against brasil in the worldcup. Things like this happen. If you do not like competetion (aka the best wins), do not play or watch dota.
The purpose of the game is winning, not entertaining others. I enjoy 20 min roflstomp games as a player and I enjoyed the finals, cause the execution was just perfect, the drafts were well thought. Sure, there were more interesting games.
Throw and counterthrow cis games have some entertaining aspects. Navi creating chaos and beating the enemy in chaos is fun. But the tention of a 50 min ratgame has other aspects, that are enjoyable. Rat doto requires a tactical discipline, that many teams lackl. So enjoy the game, enjoy the competetion.

even the top players found the finals boring, these are people who can still find fun in a game that they play 8-10 hours a day
There were other entertaining matches, just cus the finals wasn't that great doesn't mean the whole tourny sucked.
