in dota 1, yes they are goblins
But based on their Dota 2 models they look like Kobalds.

you're telling me they don't look like them?
in dota 2 cilent they are just called "Techies" meaning they're not necessary goblins.
Nyx went through the same thing from Allstars into dota 2. Also the spirits went through the same thing. Just because Allstars listened them as "Goblins" doesn't mean that valve will follow the same pattern.

They look like they could be. Not saying that we are gonna have a wildkin heroes (but sets), but they do look like a yellow version of them.
