for offlane pick heros that can do well with jsut levels...
mirana windrunner etc that style
supports pick good aggressive supports that can roam well, venge lion that type
Go offlane with a hero like timbersaw, centaur, bristle. But if you are forced to support pick a support that can setup kills easily, supports with good early presence. Or you can just go terrorblade jungle and after a little farm you can just solo push to win.
What's the thing about offlaners and support? I also play offlane and support only as for late (usually).
Supports:
Vengeful (Good roamer, good attack animation/cast animation)
If you get ahead, you'll become a tanky support to take down, who also deals reasonable damage if you pick up powertreads which you usually should.
yh only venge. Lolz.
Offlaners:
Centaur, Clockwerk and, Mirana is amazing.
EDIT: Also my favorite offlane hero atm is Phaseless Void.
^In which way?
The viability in which heroes in his mmr, or are you afraid he doesn't have enough individual skill to play heroes, etc. Timbersaw
I remember I found Timbersaw superhard when I was new in dota
^ there are some heroes that in low mmr are afraid to play with or dont know how to deal with them.
For example.. Offlane bristleback, Jungle Chen, offlane prophet...
I doubt very had people has troubles dealing with Chen in low mmr with his amazing pubrate at 43.66%. Where I'd assume he wins more in higher brackets than he wins in lower brackets.
Also, Guiri said: What is your mmr? That makes a big difference as to who you should play.
I don't think anything of what you wrote has anything to do with what I asked Guiri.
However, I assume a lowmmr shouldn't be playing Nature offlane as that's challenging. Which probably is what was the point of asking of his mmr.
Bristleback is not challenging to play offlane so yeah.
Lich carried me up from 3200 to 3800 MMR. He is good support, decent mid and one of the best offlaners (if not the best).
P.S. At higher ratings Lich is not that great, so I started to use Sand King. =)
First, thanks for the advices everyone. I'll keep that in mind. I'm at 3600 mmr (I firstly was rated at 2500), and i usually offlane with Phoenix, and play jakiro-visage mostly as supps.
And btw, how to deal with retards that picks 4 carries? Pick another carry and go full retard instead of trying?
I meant that because low MMR you can generally stomp with certain heroes like Riki, who are easy to counter yet in lower brackets no one seems to bother. Also most snowball heroes work better in the chaos of lower brackets. At least in the higher brackets people realise their potential and will probably try and gank you once or twice.
Zeus is another one, Pipe, BKB, hood, all counter him yet even at 4.5k people don't rush it against you. I was having a really bad doto week (lost like 300 mmr) Zeus pulled it almost all back for me in one morning.
And to the 4 carry thing, you can win with 4 carries. As long as those carries are willing to help each other.
I played this game today.

It was an absolute stomp and yet a really good game for our team, we took it in turns warding, buying support items etc and we all managed to farm and all managed to get serious kills coz we worked together. Some carries can perform better than others without farm (slardar I think deserves an honourable mention in that category)
Actually the sir action slacks advice about learning 3 heroes is pretty legit. Main on 3 heroes and stick to them. Even if you're good on a lot of heroes, if you constantly move around them you won't be as effective as if you only played a few.
^You just need to adapt. I'm sure you have lot of knowledge and stuff. Just like you play Legion 500 games, but you still don't adapt.
You play like you like to play. Which can be good, but you don't try to be as effective as possible, using heroes spells too their effectiveness and when they are msot effective.
Just like you don't max Q on Legion first.
Adapt, and you'll increase fast.
Just did a game with a pl and a spectre... I'm just fucking out of this retarded community only farming h24 then flaming others. The game is great. The community is toxic.
Funny, because I have totally opposite problem with too many supports. Every time I pick Sven, I say in chat: "I'm support, pick carry please". They pick supports anyway and force me to farm... What is it? Reverse psychology? =)
when i play offlane, i usually pick clockwerk, timbersaw, mirana, slark (only if its necessary), magnus (great offlane), lich, nyx assassin and centaur. surely there is 1 hero of them u like :)
Riki is a weirdo hero. He is roflstomper at lower brackets, gets useless at mid brackets and becomes again a roflstomper in very very high brackets (once you learn how to avoid common ward spots and stuff like that)
pick phoenix, lich, clock, nyx and do ganks mid as soon as ur capable of doing so that way u will have decent game impact
Yeah Vaikiss, Phoenix is just roflstomp as you can see: http://dotabuff.com/players/36444149/matches?date=&faction=&hero=phoenix&lobby_type=&game_mode=®ion=&duration=
Yeah need to snowball with physical damage in case the carry is totally retarded
SKYWRATH MAGE
amazing throughout the game
Best roamer
can carry with items or be useful dirtpoor
Get lvl 2 and go kill mid/tp to offlane

Hello guys! I'd like to improve my game so i can get into higher mmr, but i feel i'm doing something wrong.
I'm a support/offlaner, but i don't know if my picks and best heroes really works weel in solo queue. Please guys check my dotabuff and give me some advices, cause i feel like i can't win ranked anymore, thanks to egoist teamates picking 4 carries each game...
