why would gloves of haste help you on last hit if it grants you attack speed, not dmg? (you'll be aiming to hit only the LAST hit on the creep LOL)

Faster attack speed makes last hitting somewhat easier just by reducing the attack point slightly. But usually it's a negligible difference with just Gloves of Haste so it's not that big of a deal if you're decent at last hitting.

because you save time delivering yourself the recipe and then you can instantly have your midas from the side shop once you reach 2050 gold.

gloves don't help you get cs faster (unless you want to attack creeps nonstop), in which case you are fucking over your creep equilibrium and pushing into your enemys tower.

Because usually the first few minutes of the game (1-5 minutes ) the carry has easier time farming the recipe compare to say if you get the gloved first and then farm the recipe around 3rd- 7th minute where supports starts to ro am and gank you etc. More risky I guess. Sorry shit English..

Would the second statement of mine "Also if you're going to get a really bad time on it you could go for something else." be correct? If you're going to get a bad Midas time should you keep going for it? Or should you stop and make another item?

Assuming you have full right to the courier, you should have the courier bring the recipe to you just as you're picking up the haste from side. So unless something goes horribly wrong in the last 200 or so gold...you shouldn't need to change at that point or even waste the bit of gold you would have from selling the recipe back.

if you have a contested lane, you shouldnt go midas rush, even if you can get it in 6 or 7

you should have the recipe at ~3:30-4 minutes and the full thing assembled at ~4:30-5 if you're in a 2v1 lane or 3v1 lane. otherwise you shouldnt be getting midas.

also keep in mind getting some reasonably strong items before the midas to make sure ur not utterly useless and squishy and lose lane (phase boots, basilius, bracer, sometihng like that) are a good idea to grab if ur in a contested lane before your midas.

the main reason for the recipe being bought first is that the first 4 minutes are usually pretty static with respect to support movement, and as its a big item, its smarter to buy it then, and the more important reason is to speed up your timing with the courier delivering it right when u clear the gloves of haste wave.

the reason main reason why is because if the enemy knows u are care going midas,
they know they can afford to pressure u / try to gank u b4 u save that 1550 gold
at least they do that competitively

pls novices, the only reason to buy recipe first for midas is to save time on courier delivery

rtz says glove give estimated 7% last hitting efficiency.. unsure if troll tho.

Also keep in mind that 1550 is harder gold to get than 500, if you have 1550 then get gloves and die you are further behind your midas whereas if you have the recipe the 500 gold is easier to come by.

As long as you can farm and know where everyone is, you should save for the more expensive component. You never know when your free farm will be over. Also you can buy something else if you decide you can't farm it fast enough. 1k gold is more useful then gloves + 500 gold.
