It probably is an accurate representation of your skills. The sad truth is that while your teammates may seem consistently worse than you in some aspects, it is probably a combination of confirmation bias and the fact that they may well be better than you in some other aspects. For starters, rushing Aghs on Tiny is a perfectly legitimate build even in competitive games, but it may not be something you are familiar with.
Just play and focus on improving yourself. Don't care so much about how well your teammates play. If they play well, so be it. If they play badly, try to pick up the slack.
No matter what there will be some games you will lose. Maybe your team was outplayed, or some [insert racist adjective] rager decided to feed couriers. Whatever. It happens, no matter how good or bad you are. Move on and work on improving your next game.
tl;dr a new account won't help. If you are truly misrepresented you will be able to win more games and get to your rating. It has been proven by enough people by now.
only luck. hope you will get at least one player that knows what he's doing. you can't carry alone, I've learned it when I was fucking pudge as TÀ in mid, ganking non stop and getting ahead. I don't wanna blame my teammates because I don't like doing it and I didn't deal the highest hero damage, but I think we could win it. we had a great start and all. of course I made some serious mistakes and bad decision making, and I didn't have the highest MMR, but still, I think I did my job decently. I was just probably worse then the other team.
I typed a lot of shit here, just to comfort us. the actual reason is that we aren't as good as we think we are. maybe we get the right items, the right skill build, warding properly but we most likely still misplay a lot and do silly shit. I've read that watching pro games might help us getting better. meh.
TLDR: we are bad. once we improve, we shall win.

I play Pubs and at the rate my team dies, it is impossible to win. I always get those guys who call mid at the loading screen. I put alot of effort into reading/watching guides and doing last hit drills. But I just can't win the game by myself.

I realize already that I am not that good at Dota, however skill can only take you so far. It is team game after all. I make fair share of bad decisions, but I don't keep on making them again and again.
However I shall prevail! I will improve and savor the sweet taste of victory once more!
some heroes can have a freaking huge impact on the game. dazzle, disruptor, dark seer, death prophet, earthshaker, spectre etc.
even though they have limits, if you play then correctly, it will make your stupid teammates almost no room to mess things up.
also, communication and leadership will also bring results. once you say some strategic crap, people will start following you and your commands. use it to win their game.

Nope, you will still be around +/- 50% man a new account will not make you better, or get you a better MMR. Just try hard man!
The only way a new account will get you higher is if you get lucky in the calibration phase. Cus if you can't steamroll people in your bracket now to rank up you'll have the same problems on a new account.
aghs on tiny is great fun :D What MMR are you at anyway? Im in really low tier and i rarely see games with no supports. Had a bad run last couple of days and had my first game with no supports but usually its ok. If no one picks support and you think your carries suck go someone like witch doctor or lich who at my lvl can destroy teams who stick around as a close 5 in team fights :D
If you can stomp games yes if you cant then making a new account will just slowly take you back to your spot

Juice nicely said once - if you cant take advantage and feed on enemy team more, than they do on your team, then you're pretty much where you should be. No account in the world can help you with that, only your better play. End of damn story.

I am not afraid to say that I am not the best at Dota, I am not suffering from any delusions of greatness. When I started Dota I was TERRIBLE and lost quite a few games. I have improved a great deal, but it seems I am stuck in a bracket where winning is really difficult. The people in my bracket do strange things like rush an agh's on Tiny, Gyro and Earth. Or do weird stuff like Abadon mid. If I pick carry then we have 5 carries and no wards and we lose. If I pick support and ward and get the mek, then the carries can't last hit or does really silly stuff, i.e bloodseeker saving all his gold until he can get a radiance not even buying boots. And if you do get a support then that support will mess with your last hits!
I have tried jungling and it works until you get someone trying to solo off lane as Anti or CK and that is a mess up.
In short, will a new account help?
I am sure the only way to get to a higher bracket is by winning.
I am not talking about a smurf to stomp noobs with, but rather an account that gives a more accurate representation of my skills.
