Kinda hit an miss but I have been let down a lot as Doom so not playing him any more. Having most of my issues outside of a friend or team stack because people just refuse to play together sometimes.

It has been going fine I guess. Sucks when you end up in -cd/-cm and the captain feels like picking "fun" heroes instead of good ones though.

Well I dropped down by about 700 mmr 2 weeks ago (started playing new heros) working it up again have about 400 more to go :( Problem with people at low mmr is that the win doesnt necessarly depenx on you as much as how bad can the retard on your team fail compared to the retard on the other team. (Ex. Armlet CM, maelstrom nyx etc)

Last week was great, went up about .5~ winrate overall, was at like 51.9, now I'm nearly at 51.0 haha

Mine's up actually. Party and solo both up a hundred pts or so, currently on a 7 game win streak. I took a 3 week break around christmas cus I was out of town and just didn't feel like playing. Before, when mmr just came out, I was doing awful, like 20-30 overall vs my old win rate of almost 53%. Kept getting matched with the stupidest people. But either dota is really streaky by nature or mmr has evened out and those retards have dropped cus last dozen games or so have been good. Since my break I'm like 15-9.

I'm down on party by a good amount. I've had a frickin' TERRIBLE last ~8 games. Won 1 of them. The others were going pretty well. I think it started Saturday night when the Treant was ridiculously high.

My party MMR is going pretty well this week, I have an amazing 13 win streak atm, if I win 1 more game I reach the damn 5k rating

i keep having ping skyrocketing up to 1000, 400, or just 200 when i'm lucky, and that's why my mmr dropped back to where i started

Until they fix LPQ, I take a break from solo ranked.

last week was good on mine.. but the week before that, i got my longest losing streak which is 9.. so last week was kinda a rebound week for me

Just got out of a game where russian picked timber then went on to say timbersaw is no offlaner and shit tier hero who cant kill people (lol), then he buys two sage masks :')

I mean I had a match where last pick was nature's even though we had no off lane so while I picked wraith king first they made me off lane, solo I might add, cus juggernaut whined about going safe lane with our only support. So retarded crap happens.

Winrate is mostly around 50%. That means (from my own experience) not that you always have equall chances to win as oposing team, but that matchmaking somehow desides that you will win by puting you a bit better players in your team, and sometimes a bit worse. Sometimes it sucks cause you get like a long losing streak, which you cant really do much about, but on the other hand, you get wining streaks too. So it's probably even, but yeah i agree - it sucks badly to be on a losing streak, especially if you're not playing bad and still lose. Thats what called Elo Hell - when you're better then your teammates, but cant do enough to win the game.

When someone goes on a pretty good winning streak, it's not just the MM system putting worse players around them, it's also putting better players on the enemy team. If your team is feeding (and you are, indeed the best player on your team), you should be feeding on the other team's bad players as hard as the other team is to yours. Sometimes you get dealt a bad game where there's nothing you can do about it. Deal with it, I'm sure there are games where you are on the winning side, and just don't realize it.

Another thing I think people fail to realize is for the most part their skill level is capped. "I belong in a higher bracket" can only be said for so many people. Over time if you play a lot, I'm sure your skill will go up, but it will take a long time for most people. I'm at 4.2k and I'm fairly sure I won't be going much higher than this. This ELO hell thing is just an excuse for not being better. If you belong to a higher MMR, win your way out.

MMR can be quite hero dependant too for some players. I dropped as much as 650 from my peak playing new heroes or those I struggle with, not really bothered though, just want to expand my hero pool and be able to play a wider range of heroes at my max mmr.

Sure, I had a good MMR grind but that grind resulted on my video card dying on me in the middle of this 1 game. Artifacts in the middle of clash & eventually BSOD.:|

Dodging stomps(queue cancellation) while playing your best heroes seems to work.

overall - 300 rank in past 2 weeks. Its not funny after 2 months of stable mmr...

I played support in a pub.........never again......

^I play support on pubs. It works for me.:D I always call the role out @ the beginning so teammates would be at ease & hopefully perform better.

prob. influx of the smurf accounts just getting in ranked games. The quality and skill at my rating has gone down a bit, i noticed that.
