Actually I suppose Dotabuff is calculating total gold by multiplying GPM and the duration. But GPM doesnt count for the inital gold at the beginning of the game. Hence the value is different in client and dotabuff. I know there is no way to find out if the guy has randomed, but instead 625 or 603 gold could be added to the calculated value depending on the patch (date). This would atleast get the value close to the original with optional 100 or 200 left out which cant be helped.
