Recently I've been watching Beesa, a first page player playing brood without spiders... 0-4-4 skill strat for brood is actually doable

    Terrible

Beesa and his stack are some of the best players in the game, they can do whatever they want and they will still win most of their matches based on raw skill alone.

Anyway, the build is probably the better choice simply because his spiders get taken out so fucking quickly. I was playing him just the other day, and 4 enemy heroes could single handedly wipe out all my spiders if they wanted. So this left me getting towers really slowly, and having no real solo killing potential. I think 0-4-4 is probably the better choice in most matches, as the only real benefit of spiders is farming the jungle against most teams, not pushing, but I would certainly be picking up Q if spiders would cause some problems.

It is not the better choice in most situations, if your going hard carry brood that's one thing but you take away an early nuke and broods signature ability

        Vandal

The build gained a bit of attention again after they buffed incapacitating bite a while ago. It's particularly strong in 1 v 1 situations (mid, against solo offlane, etc.).

          Terrible

I find it to be the better choice in most situations simply because spiderlings are useless against most team compositions, where 3-4+ enemies are capable of stopping your push almost instantly with ease.

Its not hard carry brood, its simply a physical build that actually makes you a threat to lone heroes. If you watched this match:

I'd ask you what taking Q would achieve, where basically the whole enemy team can wipe out your spider army pretty much straight away, and then you can think about how much of a threat Brood is to heroes like Medusa/SF/ET really early once he picks up his ultimate and has maxed out Bite. This has nothing to do with turning him into a hard carry at all..

if u are against many heroes that can very easily rape spiders like tc ds sand king then skipping spiderlings isnt so bad

however if ur lane is a 1v1 situation u will always want to max ur nuke and spam soul ring to win ur lane

even fi ur 1v1 versus a tc or sand king u can always spam ur level 3/4 nuke on him and they will die or have to leave the lane

so no, if ur against hte lone hero u will want to max ur nuke

however if ur lane is a 2v1 or a 3v1 and theres many brood counters on the team u may want to go 044

Well, there's of course the option for the hard carry Broodmother, but in my experience the best use for her is as a pusher. Just wait for any moment in which there are no defending heroes around a tower, then make twenty spiders and take the tower. As easy as that.
Just don't die, bide your time and move in when you have a shot. That's all.
