@Bad to the Bone.
Care to explain the concept. http://www.dota2rating.info/76561198050769062/
Looks like the rating system turned out exactly like everyone thought it would. Yay for effort though!
@Havoc Badger
7 means you are calculated to be better than 70% of the players in the database. There are 400 players atm.

What does the team player mean?
@Bad to the bone
From the example above and from what you explained in an earlier post this kind of stat would lean more in favor of a carry player as opposed to a support.
Q: Have you maybe thought of having a second area where it would gauge supports using different criteria. Would be interested in the approach but unsure how much "support" data is available from the API.
A pro player support can have like 3-4 rating here whereas a carry in Normal can easily get double that. There is basically no correlation between your rating on that website and your actual skill.
well whether you win or not is obviously mostly based on other factors when you play rather consistently
but that doesn't mean that you get trapped in low MMR or some shit
the rating on the site is actually worse of an indicator than just looking at win rate alone

Rating: 3
Team player: 40.8%
:{
game is hard
time to report that site 2 valve so none will see how bad i am
@Volvo shield me plz
That means on average you participate in 40% of team's kills.
@Havoc Badger
I am yet to decide if I should carry on working on this, i have a lot of stuff going on in real life atm but if i were to continue there would be 2 separate ratings - 1 for carries and 1 for players who tend to play support.
However in my personal experience of playing the game (i've played since 2007 and played at high level at one point) people who tend to play support heroes in matchmaking would be the ones who are weaker and they may not be as good at playing the game anyway.

This is the profile of NS who is very famous for his supporting abilities - as you can see he has a high rating.

I lolled.
@Bad to the bone

How are you supposed to find out what skill level you are now? The filter has changed to "Find Hero" in the client so there is no way there to search for yourself.
