Shamelessly bumping and adding a few things to my own thread, forgot these;
Puck = Dendi (there are a lot more players to add here though)
Meepo = Notail, Waga
Also bumping for a good QoP (probably just watch Mushi for that one tbh), a good Tinker and a good Mirana player as well.
http://www.datdota.com/heroes.php - pick the hero u like, go to 'stats' and look who plays it best/has the highest winrate on it.
then proceed to the replays of ti3 that u can access ingame for free and find games where he played it, put him on player perspective, watch and learn
^Thanks a bunch for the website, I didn't know of that one. That's another thing I do to learn, I have a list of TI3 replays I'm going through still and it's a great advice I feel.
Regarding Invoker, Ferrari 430 is much better than iceiceice and Dendi. I really do not approve of icex3's skill and item build. However, Icex3 still does very well with invoker because he has great awareness, positioning, and response time.
^Definitely will check more of his stuff then. I knew he is a great Invo but I haven't checked his profile in ages, will get on that now :D
Icex3 is indeed amazing with that response time, I just felt that his general invo skill use was also quite elegant. Also lands some ridiculous Sun Strikes xD
Tinker:
Chains http://dotabuff.com/players/61061435
HNS http://dotabuff.com/players/70356987
me (just kidding, don't do it)
Twitch, I usually can't catch him live so I usually just watch his past broadcasts for Storm/Timber games ^_^
Just adding to what has been mentioned already
Mushi in general.
r1sk - natures prophet
Puck + weaver - mason
Timbersaw - 04
Clock - Kabu
Edit: op make a list with heroes in alphabetical order (you can chuck it on word and use the sort function)
edit2:
pl + troll - beesa (why did you say aui?)
AM - BurNIng
TA - I don't know about "best", but BRICKS is really good
Xtinct's Visage is a pleasure to watch
Akke's Chen intimidates me
Dendi's TA, too

So many good players...its really too hard to pick one. But here are a few examples^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Sorry Relentless but this guy http://dotabuff.com/players/49382246 is way better slark than Korok :D
I don't think I've seen him play it. I have seen Korok crush the best players in the world with his slark. That is why he is on my list.
I haven't seen too many of his matches, and it looks like he smurf stacks a lot now, but Jrb is worth mentioning.
http://dotabuff.com/players/114030703
I'd also put down Xtinct for Chen as well
edit: lmfao grimorum for invoker, nice list relentless
Grimorum for invoker http://dotabuff.com/players/125168907
btw, he has commended in this post :D
Relentless list is well done but most of those players don't even have those heroes on their top heroes. So how exactly did you make this list?
There are many players that are excellent at many heroes. These are all players who I have seen play exceptionally well on the hero. Nearly all of them did this in a pro tournament. Sadly I have yet to see a pro player who is really better at Lich than me...that should not be true...but sadly it is, because every pro lich has just not been very good. The top50 list for Lich is also disappointing...its players who simply have extremely high DBR and tons of games and happen to have played some Lich.
hmm it looks like this guy http://dotabuff.com/players/9757015
might be legit
Also 7ckingmad (the guy from Quantic) plays a really good Bane as well.
Sometimes people overrate pro players... they sometimes suck a lot with heroes they don't play much. In the last game of Quantic vs Rattlesnake, Sochska played the worst Tinker I've ever seen in a competitive match. I'm not lying when I say I would've done better.
It's sort of a trick question to add chen to the list. God, that is boring no matter who you watch doing. Ok, I see he has some creeps. Right, he is smoking. All right, he used his ultimate to heal people. Ok, he has 3 stupid fucking creeps moving in different directions and he's using his skills.
Yeah, it's hard. That's not the point. It's just so god damned boring to see.
Right well, you have 5 times Sochska's games on Tinker, higher win rate, Far higher KDA...and your pub games are going to be only slightly easier than his. I would not be surprised at all if you would do better than his crappy performance that game. Over the long term, say he plays 90 more games of practice to catch up to you...after that maybe he is a better Tinker. But that game, sure you would have done better.
Relentless, add me on steam. I see your top heroes are all bitch baby support. That's just the type of player with whom I enjoy queueing.
Thus, I spoke.
lmao relentless
you clearly have no fucking idea how to play dota or how dota is supposed to be played
What now you are jealous of sano? lol
@Vandal, yeah we can probably play some. I make ppl look good that is why they love me despite me talking to much. | :- )
I'm going to be busy most of this weekend however...too many birthday parties to attend.
no, actually it's your lich that's giving me an erection
when that hero becomes meta IG.Int.Relentless will be feared all over the world
lich first ban incoming
lol NO. They just keep casting the ult wrong. Its very sad. I'm watching the game and I'm saying NOW! do it NOW! and they just fail it every time...actually pros pretty much all cast it too early. Its really not possible to just "delta split" Chain frosts if you cast them right.
makes sense
you shout NOW but they don't do it because they've already used it before because they're all doing it too early
Yeah it's fairly effective to tell people who can't hear me to do something they already did. Poor Lich.
It's always possible to split and avoid chain frost hitting all the team. unless it's in a black hole or chronosphere or in RP or in vacuum into familiar 9 second stun. which are also hard to land on many heroes by themselves.
Sure, its "possible" to try to run away...but there are plenty of times where you are not stunned and running away will be certain to lose the teamfight. The simplest way to think about it is...cast when they must move in to act correctly...sure they could say "oh look we are going to lose 2 cores in the next 3-4 seconds...but Lich cast chain frost so I'll watch them die....either way they lose.
It really is not possible to effectively teamfight without there being a short period of time that you have to be in a 575 range of allied heroes to get your job done. Spell ranges are to short for it to be otherwise. If a team does try to just dodge around in-and-out, you will win the fight...they will fail their coordination, and you DON'T CAST CHAIN FROST. Like so many big ults, threat of ult is worth as much as the ult itself. You just wait and cast it to punish them when they mess up. Alll you have to do is get it right once and they will fear that teamwipe all game long.
Someone with dotabuff plus can please show me some good players that actually play Death Prophet? Thanks since now.
@ fuckthezero no, actually it's your lich that's giving me an erection

Hey guys,
I'm quite a new player (1 year of DotA2, never played any other DotA-like games) and trying hard to improve (played tons of bot games before really starting playing normal games hence the really low game count, I watch games a lot streams/pro-mathces etc.). I mostly main mids or offlane solos, can't play support for shit (really really need to improve on that) and hate playing 1st position in general. Also not the biggest fan of junglers (even though I have a hero that I play when I have to for both support and jungler, I'm just not very good at it). One last thing, while I try to improve, I play for fun, not competitive play or anything. So I basically main heroes that I have fun with, I don't main anything that I don't enjoy playing (I do play them when necessary).
I found that I learn best by watching streams for the most part. I also like focusing on heroes for a while and then learn more general mechanics then go back to focus on heroes.
Now I'm focusing on my main 6-7 heroes (soon to improve on that number, include 1-2 supports, more 4th pos team fighters etc.) and want to ask everybody who to watch for certain heroes. Can be a streamer (that's best for me) or some random pubber, doesn't really matter.
Also inb4 you're terrible, yes I am, trying to improve on that.
http://pubstats.me/44878797/
(remember this is for learning/watching, not who is best x player);
TL;DR : I'm fairly new, want to watch good players play, here is a list by everybody on this tread.
AM = BurNing
Bane = 7ckingmad
Batrider = bone7
Chen = PUPPEY / [a]kke, Xtinct
Clockwerk = Kabu, bone7
Dark Seer = bone7
Invoker = iceiceice (of course Dendi etc. also plays great but iceiceice is just so extremely good with him)
Kunka = SingSing (for fun, always buys Divine at some point IRC)
L. Druid = [A]DMIRALBULLDOG
Meepo = Notail, Waga
NP = r1sk
P. Lancer = AUI_2000, Beesa
Puck = Dendi, mason, Jay (Mineski) (there are a lot more players to add here though)
Pudge = Dendi ofc.
SF = Quite a bit of people play him, Dendi, SingSing etc. I can't come to a conclusion who's best though
Strom = Blitz (just amazing Storm, also talks a lot about how he plays him)
TA = Wagamama (he's really good about harassing with the passive, also talk a lot, great person as well), Dendi
Troll = Beesa
Timber = I currently watch Blitz, he mids him, I really want a good offlaner Timber though (I think waga did that a few times). My timber sucks hard but he's extremely fun (albeit probably tad bit OP now :P). Greatly appreciate any input. Also mentioned; 04
Tinker = Chains (http://dotabuff.com/players/61061435), HNS (http://dotabuff.com/players/61061435)
Visage = Xtinct
Weaver = Not sure, greatly appreciate any input. Now I'm just watching xbox play him (who I usually don't like watching). inb4 you don't need to learn how to play weaver, I'm still terrible with him and I do want to see somebody good play him.
Please feel free to add/comment on this list and feel free to add more heroes/players that you enjoy watching (doesn't have to be streamers!!) and that you have learned a lot from and why.
Cheers!
Edit: Spelling correction, list of heroes extended and added the suggestions, added tl:dr. Also look a few posts down for a list by Relentless. Please post/edit your post if I missed anything.
