Hi there DOTABUFF Community!
I am looking for players to join me and a friend to play DOTA2 at evenings and weekends. We are not looking to create a competitive team as of yet, we are just simply wanting to get into 5 man pub games more regularly to combat the public idiots.
Due to previous bad experiences here are a set of requirements:
Must be aged 18+
Must be UK based/from UK originally (I'm sorry but we've become fed up with the language/time barriers that have occurred with previous teams)
Must have a microphone and Skype
Must have a decent-ish computer/internet (if you lag and disconnect every game then don't bother adding me)
Must be decent at the game - I appreciate that people won't know everything... if you are a nice guy that we get along with, then we will try and help you out. I myself have tried the competitive scene and have been spoke to like a child enough to know that it ruins the game for you. I actually taught my friend how to play and I understand that DotA is a hard game to get into.
Must be willing to learn and/or teach and/or help other members - communication is the key.
Here is some background information on me:
I'm 22 years old from England. I've been playing DotA since Warcraft III days so I have experienced A LOT over the years. Me and my friend have a 50% win rate, hopefully getting a 5 man team will help get that up.
We are aiming to play DotA around 6pm+ weekdays and any time on weekends. This is flexible though, I appreciate that not everyone can play simultaneously sometimes. I myself have a full time job Mon-Fri ~ 9am-5pm so I might not feel like playing DotA some evenings.
Most importantly - we play for fun. Of course we like to win every game but if a team mate messes up or does something wrong then we prefer to rip on each other/make jokes instead of putting them down (as long as it's nothing ridiculous ).
So if this is the sort of team atmosphere you've been after then please add me through steam...
